Pro: excellent view of Mount Kinabalu from the living room, highly recommended Cons: make sure car has enough power to climb the steep hill road to get out of the resort, or else passenger will have to get out of the cars while going uphill. Still is a great experience. View superb! Very nice place to stay and highly recommended! Value for money. Lucky to have stumbled upon this gem. The resort was newly refurbished recently. Clean and spacious. Owner was kind to upgrade us to a three room unit whereby the location was more easily accessible and sheltered from rain, as at the time we arrived it was raining. The view of Mt KK was just behind the resort. Highly recommended and will surely return if opportunity strikes. Overall is good, except the wi-fi not working although the in-room showing wi-fi coverage. The tv does not have any channel at all even though we have been provided with the remote control. However, when you stay there, you will have no time to watch the TV anyways. My stay was more than great. The place itself is amazing, very nicely situated with an amazing view. Low key, and great atmosphere. Hosts are really nice and helpful, I recommend it to everyone and I hope to be back there myself : perfect spot for hiking, very near to Kinabalu park. You may rent steamboat pot and diy steamboat too. It will be even perfect if they can consider to provide hair shampoo and body shower or at least body shampoo. Will come back and stay here again in my next visit! Beautiful scenary. Im taking twin bed. Its super single bed. Twin room with private balcony, but not with kinabalu view. Hot shower ok. Some commented gravy road into the area. But for me its ok Less than 1km from main road. We enjoyed the view and the environment. It is really relaxing and peaceful. The location is not far from Kundasang town, so we can shuttle from resort to town to bought some foods. Clean room and the staff are really helpful. Thank you! Very complete facilities bbq equipment, cooking utensil, stoves, fridge, rice cooker, hot shower. Cleanliness of our room not bad 3. Friendly staffs who attend us asap when we call for assistance eg help us to make fire for bbq, fix the blocked toilet bowl What improvement we wish 1. Weak WiFi 2. Strict rule of no noise after 10pm there are tenants who sing karaoke for the whole night, causing us hard to fall asleep to prepare for sunrise hiking 3. Hot shower 24 h hot water only available at night 4. Install bug net at all windows, so at least we can open window without worrying about bugs. Everything was perfect! The staff are friendly and helpful. They helped to carry all our luggage bag to our room. The rooms are located up the hill and it required to climb the stair up to the room. The double king room located at the highest at level 3. If you are travelling with senior citizen its not very convenient to climb such a high stair. Other than this, all is good. Water heater working well. The location and view was breathtaking. Even saw a rainbow after so long! The mount Kinabalu stood majestically around us. Other than the road into the place, there are no other negatives that I can think of. This place is good. Nice place to stay with a great view.. Freezing during bath.. This place is a bit inconvenient if you do not have your own transport.
