I'm of the opinion that people truly believe expensive is better, no matter the proof pudding they're served. Soft, warm colours and extremely fine grain, beautiful skin tones and crazy exposure range (especially over exposed) The two colour neg stocks I shoot are Gold 200 from iso 25 to 200, and Kodak 800-5 from iso 200-800.
Overall, Kodak Colorplus 200 Colour Negative is a very good, reasonably priced all rounder, not super fine grained but more than adequate for most purposes.
