Do yourself a favor and order the sexy jalapeño and a Tokyo roll. The description of the Tokyo roll sounds bazaar and like the flavors should not work together, but it is a flavorful bit of awesomeness! Service here is always great, and the place is very clean.
I came here with some friends on a Saturday night for my friends birthday. We were able to find parking outside easily despite the place being very full, a popular place! We got a table inside and our waitress came to take our order quickly. We all got a drink and then an entrée and were pleased with the large bar menu as well as the sushi types. I recommend the shrimp dumplings as well as the vegetarian hibachi entrée, definitely large portions. I'd say the prices are a little higher than nearby sushi places, but its definitely good quality and nice interior. I recommend a visit to this place!
I came here with my friend for happy hour and to grab dinner around 5pm on a Wednesday. We've always really liked Kobe for happy hour and weren't disappointed again! Our bar tender was very nice and attentive and even offered us a drink of the day that wasn't on the menu. Happy hour are drink specials only, but everything is half off! A great deal. We also both ordered entrees which came out quickly and were delicious. I highly recommend the hibachi entrees.
Went for happy hour and the bar tender was extremely friendly. Good food and beautiful interior. The drinks were buy one get one free during happy hour which was pretty fantastic. There are no food specials however. The lunch specials are priced great and you can get a lot of food for around $8. Parking is easy with a huge lot and there is even hibachi if you like!
The owner is amazing! Food is always hot and fresh even when I order minutes before closing time. Portion sizes are large. Love everything about this place even when I get take out!
I was very disappointed with my family's visit to Kobe for a Hibachi dinner. Let me preface by saying our chef was phenomenal and super kind - he was a rockstar. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff was quite rude and felt frustrated with any ask from our family. One of the children has a severe allergy and the waitstaff did not relayed to the chef. In addition to the impoliteness of the staff, the bathrooms looked to not have been cleaned in days. Overall, we will not be returning and I would urge future diners to reconsider their selection.
Oh Kobe. One of these days you're going to make good food, I know it! I've been to this specific locations multiple times, and every time I go I expect the food to be better this time. Kind of like a specific burger place that I go to hoping it gets better, but being disappointed each time I go. Kobe is that for me, only with sushi. The problem is, they actually put out pretty food. Like they actually put effort in the presentation. But every time I go, the food is lackluster and underwhelming. On this last attempt, I got their surf and turf lobster and filet sushi roll. We also got their spicy jalapeno popper, their Avocado ball, and their Sushi Pizza. There wasn't anything that was a stand-out dish out of all of them. Usually I can find something tasty out of everything, but as always it was all just meh. The avocado ball had a good amount of crab in it and the seaweed salad was not old. The Tuna pizza was difficult to eat and messy. The smear of eel sauce and spicy mayo was the only real saving grace for a chewy, limp base and warm tuna bits. The spicy jalapeno popper was mush, and the tuna was canned. The surf and turf roll, the beef was flank steak cut thin and the lobster - if it was lobster - was nothing but mush due to the batter it was fried in absorbing all the water the fish bits were soaking in. We did opt for a dessert, figured they couldn't really mess up a frozen cheesecake. the cheesecake was warm mousse, the crust was still frozen and they gave us plastic forks to attempt to eat it. Given the price, I honestly cannot recommend this place. It's clear that they know how, the presentation is on point. But it does seem like they just don't care enough about how things taste. I hope one day they put out some good food, but unless you're very old and like overpriced mushy food this place is a pass
No regard to customer requests. We had someone who was vegetarian and someone with a strong onion allergy. Both were clearly requested and neither were respected. This happened at the hibachi grill and for take out. Food quality was poor. Veggies were mush in all three meals. Meat with mixed into the vegetarian dinner for take out. Chunks of chicken and what looked like very over cooked shrimp. When we talked with our server she stated hibachi is for those who have move food allergies or cannot have food as cooked. We were the only people at the hibachi grill that night. Super salty with no flavor.
Nice interior, especially for being in a strip mall. Lots of fish tanks and interesting decor. Service was just ok. Nothing to write home about. Staff weren't the friendliest, seemed a bit cold. The food was high quality. Very nice fish in the sushi and solid hibachi meals. The sushi did not pass the fish-rice ratio, however, with very small portions being served. Overall a fine dining experience but nothing exceptional.
my step daughter is super picky and only eats white rice and chicken fingers when we get sushi. they only had "chicken tempura" so we got a little nervous because she is VERY specific about what she likes. well, once she started eating it she said it was amazing! that was a huge relief to us. we ordered 4 special sushi rolls and they were all amazing! the service was also very good, everyone was very nice and even asked which roll was our favorite. the inside was beautiful!!!!
What do you do when it's 9:30pm on a Wednesday night and you're a vegan craving 'sushi'? You thank the stars above that awesome Kobe Asian Bistro is open! My daughter and I were jonesing for some cucumber rolls and avocado rolls. Turns out we hit the jackpot with Kobe's vegetable roll combo (1 avocado, 1 cucumber, and 1 asparagus)! This came with miso soup and a mixed green salad, which i got none of as my daughter claimed it immediately and from the look on her face and none for me, it was delicious. We also got the peanut avocado roll which was quite yummy and gave nice texture with the crunchy peanuts.

Kobe Asian Bistro was such a good find, I was staying in the area and after looking over the dining options in and around Manchester Kobe Asian Bistro caught my eye. I arrived a little after 7:00 PM, the restaurant was about half filled at least the section that I was seated in. My server greeted me immediately after being seated and took my drink order while I browsed the menu - I was hoping there would be a few Korean options and although I quickly realized that wasn't the case I looked for something that was extra spicy. Once my drink arrived Esther my server asked if I had any questions, which I did. I finally decided to choose the Ginger Scallion Beef with 3X spicy, not clear on the intensity of the spicy levels I figured that would probably be enough - this was a beautiful and delicious dish, although I'll definitely raise the spicy level to 5X my next visit and hope for the best. I also ordered the Hong Kong Style Wonton Soup and I must say it was a stellar choice, the broth was incredible and the wonton's were so tender and delicate (if you're a wonton soup fan this is a must try). If that wasn't enough I decided to try the pork dumplings as well, I know it seems like a ridiculous amount of food for one but I really wanted to see what this place was all about, again another exceptional selection tender and complex served with a wonderful dipping sauce. I was so impressed with the food here. Although the restaurant was filling up with customers the later it got and I was occupying a four top near the front window I never felt rushed, Esther was very timely with her check-in's and asked several times if I was enjoying the food and she keep a filled drink in front of me. After I finished most of everything I ordered while waiting on my check one of the owners / manager stopped by my table and asked about my meal, he also mentioned the spice level I requested and we laughed when I told him I will order 5X spicy my next visit. He asked where I was from and agreed my southern roots probably justifies my tolerance for spicy food compared to most from the northeast. I really enjoyed this restaurant and have the highest praise for the staff here, I have no doubt that I will return when in the area...
