If last week was our shout-out to the tape gag fans, this week it's time to celebrate the trusty cleave gag!
But if we thought choosing from over 1,200 tape gag scenes on this site would be a challenge, choosing from over 1,400 cleave gag scenes would be an even bigger one—so once again we turned to YouTube poster Top10* for inspiration. This baker's dozen scenes should get the party started, but as always, we'd love to hear your suggestions (publicly or privately) for which scenes to feature when Part 2 rolls around.

In the meantime, we'll be adding a few more stragglers from Top10*'s list to the site over the next week.

One other note: while we largely respect their choices, it seems they're not big fans of the knotted cleave gag. But we are, and we've got over 80 of those scenes available for the viewing, which subscribers can find simply by entering "knotted cleave" into the search bar. Have fun!

What is the most effective gag you have ever had applied to you ?
I've received multi-layered gags- a hanky or bandanna in my mouth, one tied cleave-gag style holding that in, and another one tied over my mouth detective-style. Sometimes an ace bandage was used instead. And I could still make a pretty decent amount of noise, you just couldn't understand what i was saying. A sound-proof room (putting quilts or blankets on the walls, for instance) or a masking noise, like the TV, radio, running water or nearby construction work or traffic would have to cover all the sound. Even rhythmic thumping or tapping will bring someone to check on it- Nancy Drew did it in THE TAPPING HEELS.
To me? Uhh...closest I can think of is when I stuffed an entire sandwich in my mouth, because I was hungry.
I'd think a cleave-gag is best with some manner of stuffing, but I'm inexperienced in real-life situations. Sorry
I think a Tape gag. Where you are gagged with duct tape.
A good cleave-gag, possible with stuffing too
My recommendation for most effective gag.
1) Start by having her put on a bathing cap to protect her hair.
2) Before fastening the chin strap, insert earplugs (optional, but recommended)
3) Cleave gag
4) Stuffing, cleave gag should keep from swallowing the stuffing which would be very bad
5) One wrap of tape around head to force stuffing deep and hold in place
6) One wrap of tape under chin and around top of head to compress stuffing
7) Multi wraps of tape around head to seal lips.
Add blindfold (optional, but also recommended).
I've never heard any complaints.
Mouth stuffed full of cloth and then a bandage pulled tightly over the mouth and wrapped around several times.
I imitated a bondage video I saw a while back..
Mouth-packing, followed by a ballgag, followed by duct tape followed by a bandage wrap.
You can scream into it, but not a ton of sound really comes out and definitely nothing intelligible. You get more noise from humming loudly.
I tried a lot of different gags but the most effective was a stuffing with two tight cleave-gags and one tight OTM gag.

Buy a long handkerchief from any retail store, or use one that you have in your home. Make one or two knots in the middle of the handkerchief. Put the knot into your partner’s mouth, and tie the handkerchief around their head.
Core a small apple. Run a small length of rope, clothesline or even yarn through the middle of the apple. Have your partner open their mouth, insert the apple halfway, and have them bite down. Tie the length of rope, etc., around their head.
Apply masking tape or duct tape loosely to your partner’s mouth. This technique will firmly gag them. Make sure that you very carefully remove this type of mouth gag, so as not to tear the skin.
Use any variety of clothing, such as a long sock, tie or scarf, to tie around your partners head and into their mouth. You can even make a mouth gag by stuffing these items loosely into their mouth, so that it can be quickly removed.
Buy a small to medium sized rubber ball in the children’s section of any store. Make sure it is big enough that it cannot be swallowed. Using a large needle, scissors or knife, poke a hole through the middle of it. Insert rope, clothesline or yarn through the hole to make your own mouth gag.
