Two minors and one adult were arrested Tuesday on suspicion of kidnapping, robbery and assault after a deal to buy marijuana ended in a fight at school. Two students from Monarch High School in Louisville made plans to buy marijuana from two other students last Saturday at E. Coalton Road, according to police. When the students who planned to buy the drugs arrived in the parking lot, one of them entered the car of the two students who said they would sell the drugs. The two sellers had brought along a third person, and when the student looking to buy the marijuana got in the car, the vehicle drove away, police said. The potential sellers put the potential buyer in a choke hold, demanding that he give them his money. The victim complied and the alleged kidnappers dropped him back off in the parking lot where his friend was waiting, police said. Police officers became involved in the incident on Tuesday when they were called to Monarch High after four students got into a fight, with the victim and his friend asking for their money back. Two of the people arrested were minors, and their names are not being released. The third person arrested was year-old Jackson Kittilla. By Laura Snider. More in News.
