Kite Cub Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Kite Cub handles information. The developer of Kite Cub ("we" or "us") built the app so that it works entirely on your phone. We do not collect your personal data, and no information about you ever reaches us.

The Short Version

• Kite Cub does not collect, share or sell personal data.
• Your settings and saved items stay in local storage on your phone.
• The app contains no third-party SDKs of any kind.
• The app does not use an advertising identifier.

What Stays on Your Device

Kite Cub keeps two kinds of information, both in local storage on your phone:

• Your settings, such as the preferences you choose inside the app.
• Items you save while using the app.

This information is created by you, lives only on your device, and is not sent to us or to anyone else. We cannot see it, read it or recover it for you.

What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect any of the following:

• Your name, email address, phone number or postal address
• Your location
• Your contacts, photos, files or messages
• Device identifiers or usage statistics
• Any other information that could identify you

Because we collect nothing, we have no database of user information, and there is nothing for us to analyze, combine or profile.

How Information Is Used

The settings and saved items on your phone are used for one purpose: to make Kite Cub remember your choices and your saved content between sessions. We do not use them for any other purpose, and we never receive them.

Third-Party Services

There are none. Kite Cub contains no third-party SDKs and relies on no outside services to function. No external company receives information from the app, because the app does not send your information anywhere.

Sharing and Sale of Information

We do not share your information with anyone, and we do not sell it. We have no personal data to disclose to partners, businesses or authorities. We also cannot hand over data we never receive.

How Long Data Is Kept

Settings and saved items remain on your phone until you remove them. You can delete saved items inside the app, clear the app's storage in your phone's system settings, or uninstall Kite Cub. Any of these permanently removes the locally stored data. We keep no copies, so we have no retention schedule of our own.

Keeping Your Data Safe

Since your information never leaves your phone, its protection depends mainly on your device. We recommend using a screen lock and keeping your operating system up to date. We designed Kite Cub to minimize risk by not collecting data, not transmitting it and not relying on outside code that could handle it.

Children's Privacy

Kite Cub does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. We do not knowingly gather data from users under 13, or under 16 in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. Because the app has no data collection at all, a parent or guardian has no collected information to review or ask us to delete. If you believe a child has somehow provided personal information to us, contact us and we will look into it.

Your Rights Under GDPR and CCPA

Privacy laws give people certain rights over their personal data. Here is how they apply to Kite Cub.

Under the GDPR, if you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data held about you
• Correct it
• Delete it
• Restrict or object to its processing
• Move it to another service
• Complain to your local data protection authority

Under the CCPA, if you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information is collected
• Request deletion of it
• Opt out of its sale or sharing
• Not be treated differently for using these rights

We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to access, correct, delete or transfer. We do not sell or share personal information. You remain in full control of what is stored in the app, and you can erase it at any time from within the app, through your phone's storage settings, or by uninstalling. Changes to This Policy

If Kite Cub changes in a way that affects how information is handled, we will update this policy and change the date at the top. We will publish the revised version on the app's Google Play listing. Please review it from time to time. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
