Although they are not related by blood, Keita finds himself the object of his feisty twin-sisters Ako and Riko’s affections. Using extremely creative ways to wake him in the morning, the girls kiss, caress and grope their way into Kei-chan’s bed in the hope of becoming his bride. Forbidden sibling love even spreads to the school classroom, and as the rivalry between Ako and Riko intensifies, will they stop at nothing to win their brother’s unwilling heart? But how far is too far, and can Keita say no to two beautiful young girls throwing themselves at him forever?
It's not an easy challenge to pull off incest as a form of comedy styling. This is what actually kept me away from the anime Kissxsis in the first place. My friend reassured me that this anime was superb and she wasn't kidding. So lets dive in.
--SYNOPSIS--
Keita Suminoe is an average high school student that grew up with two girls that he shared affection for due to his child like innocence. Much to their surprise their families married each other and these two girls became Keita's sisters. The two girls (Ako Suminoe and Riko Suminoe) are far from reserved when it comes to their feelings; especially when compared to Keita himself. But should keita indulge in his desires for his new stepsisters?
--STORY--
See what's wrong? It's pretty stupid, but was it really supposed to be taken seriously? Bear in mind this is a comedy and this is not the main focus. What gives the story a bonus is the fact that it's pretty original and probably not been attempted before.
--ANIMATION--
The animation of a comedy is in my opinion key to creating a funny anime by simply how far in eccentricity it will go without making you question your sanity. In Kissxsis it knows where to draw the line and to deliver it well. It's used well to show the impulsiveness of the two twins Ako and Riko but to also Keita and how bewildered he becomes when exposed to any suggestive behaviour
--SOUND--
The theme song is changed between two different ones as the series progresses; they are good songs but they aren't anything really spectacular. The music during the anime itself plays an important role in any kinky behaviour approaching. The same saxophone song occurs doing any perverted act.
Another surreal expression from "KEI-CHAN!"
--CHARACTERS--
This is the higlight of the whole anime. Whilst Keita can be a little boring and lacks any depth at times. His sisters are unique to each other despite sharing an obession for their younger brother. You would expect the parents to help keita's case but the father of the year ritually tells them to fool around whenever possible and the way his animation is done makes him the funniest character in the series in my opinion. His teacher Yuzuki is also very eccentric and is always trying to intervene in this sistuation which she (and many of the audience) believes is morally wrong. Keita's sexually explicit friends also get a few laughs from their interogations with Keita and what he does to his step-sisters
--SUMMARY--
Rarely has wincest ever been so funny with surreal situations and even more surreal animation style at some parts. My main critisism is that the comedy starts to decline towards more recent releases. There is a reason for this but it would somewhat spoil the anime for any newcomers. But if you want cuteness and boobs this show has plenty of it to go around with no need for any tentacles. Watch the TV series before the OVA to earn a better understanding of what is going on but it's sure to make you giggle more than once.

okay this has to be like one of my al time favorites. If you are looking for a really happy and funny ecchi this is your anime to watch.The two sisters who are constantly trying to hit on thier brother make the anime super funny. Besides great humor ist also really ecchi, not the sensuraded kind of stuf, and they bring the brother complex issue so not awkward that this serrie is even watchable for everyone :DAlso youre gonna love the twins 'couse they are so kawaii and happy, you cant hate them. also the Animation is really nice to watch. So this serrie really is a must see.

Kiss x Sis. The famous, not-blood incest anime. The famous not-blood incest with loli anime. The famous, add a girl that once peed on him and a teacher-anime. Yes. If you have never seen this show, welcome to the Hentai Club, amirite?
Anyways. Here we have Keita Suminoe, who is being harassed into choosing and pretty much downright fucking his two sisters, who are not related by blood, Ako and Riko. This is the OVA version of said anime, with only 12 episodes, that spanned over 7 years. The TV version wasn't made until 2010, so if you're looking to actually get a chronolgical order, go watch that, and then this. The story for this OVA series were just episodes that contained one little story of Keita's life, invlolving all the damned harem characters and more.
Animation overall was good. I'd also like to point out the Opening sequence. That was very spicy.
Soundtrack was good.
Characters, although lacking in the story as said above, were well done. Keita struggles between being a brother and friend to society or being a guy who likes his sisters. Also, teacher issues, the girl who peed on him, and a loli.

Alright, I've been putting this review off for a while. I just haven't exactly been ready to share my thoughts about the show, mostly because any thoughts people have on this show will most likely be typed with one hand.

watch this because my girlfriend said that she laughed her head off while watching this. She failed to mention everything else about the show, so this review is mainly focused on preparing you for what you're planning on watching.
For a 12 episode series, I was fairly surprised that they could make so many episodes about an incestuous relationship, but somehow they pulled it off. To start off, let's talk about the story, shall we? The story revolves around a Junior High Schooler, Keita. He's about to finish his last year before High School. Seems normal enough. Oh, wait, I forgot to mention the fact that before all of this is explained, Keita wakes up to both of his twin sisters sleeping in his bed, cuddled up against him. They wake up, give him a kiss after teasing him a little, and just walk out. First 5 minutes of the anime, that's what happens. Was not expecting that. Anyways, apparently his sisters love him in a lustful way, and by lustful, I mean that they're madly in love with him. However, people could debate whether it would be okay for them to love him in that way, due to the fact that they're his STEPsisters. They aren't biologically related, but at the same time, brother and sisters... but the main storyline is based off of Keita and his sisters' relationship. In terms of an actual plot, there wasn't anything big, every story seemed to be something different.
Let's see, this anime was made 3 years, 2 months ago in 10 days from now. Overall, the artwork was relatively modern. But that's a good thing, because the artwork today is really quite impressive. It was easy to tell the twins apart, mainly due to the different hairstyles and the bandaid on one of their cheeks, haha. The echii scenes were also fairly detailed, and don't get me started on the erotic museum and shopping center... oh God... so detailed... my eyes...
Sound was one of the reasons this anime might be thought of as a hentai. I think you all may know what that means. Despite that, voice acting was good, if not realistic... I think the thing that made me laugh the most was Riko's comments and jokes. They were really well thought of, and it brought that mature yet funny side to the anime.
Ehh... I liked some of the characters, but not all of them. Keita seemed a little indecisive. It wasn't that I hated him, it's just that he isn't really able to make up his mind about a lot of things. He could have a nice relationship with his sisters (not that I support it or anything), but he chooses not to, and the thing is, his parents are all for the idea. That made me laugh a lot, his parents, but still, Keita should make a decision. Ako and Riko were the 2 best characters in the show if you asked for my personal opinion. They seemed like really nice girls, and they really do care for people. With the main characters out of the way, there were a bunch of good minor characters, but despite the fact I liked them, I was glad to see there was a limited amount of air time for each of them, I would have preferred to see the Keita/Ako/Riko story unfold little by little.
Overall, it was a fairly good anime. It was probably the 2nd time I've seen an anime like this (referring to Yosuga no Sora), and I can't say it's my favorite kind of anime, but I liked most of it. I enjoyed the comedy and the romance...
...but it did get annoying having to reposition my laptop on my lap in order to get comfortable again...
The story revolves around a junior-high student. Keita is your average, easy to relate to guy struggling to get his grades at a certain level, so he can go to the same school as his sisters. Yeah, his twin-sisters. Actually, they aren't blood related, but their parents married while they were still young. Now normally that wouldn't be much of a problem, but this time both are madly in love with him. Throughout the anime, they both try to win his heart, often causing him to fail at what is trying to. As the story continues, he gets more and more interested in them, and

that even results in a few spicy scenes. Well...what am I saying? I guess you could say this anime has quite a bit borderline hentai scenes. Now don't think because of that, this anime is bad, because it isn't. It's very lighthearted and enjoyable, just as anime like this should be!
That said, the animation is great, unlike most (borderline) hentai anime. The characters and background are animated well, and I'm quite fond of the colouring. I haven't found many scenes where characters are moving awkwardly, or anything alike. Sometimes though, especially when scenes get a little more sexual, you'll notice the occasional flaw, or at least the really hentai-like kissing. But seeing there's more than enough good animation to make op for that, i don't really mind at all. And I'm sure most people considering to watch this one wouldn't either.
Both OP en ED are incredibly catchy. After a few episodes i found myself humming the ED while showering. I can't say I'm really proud of that, but you get my point. The voice acting is pretty good. The two girls are equipped with the required -and well preformed- "little girl" voices, and just hearing Ken Takeuchi voicing Keita is usually more then enough to feel his awkwardness. I saw the OVA before, but still wasn't expecting much of the voice acting, but i can say I'm positively surprised.
The characters aren't special, but certainly not bad. Keita is the typical "harem-anime lead", spending most of his time fantasizing about the girls, or doing things with them he normally fantasizes about. Ako is the mature sister, who cooks for the family, has good grades etc. Riko is a more of a childish and playful type. Although you'll sometimes ask yourself what their differences are, they are especially visable when seducing Keita.
To fill in some of the blank spots, there are some filler characters. I must say they are pretty well made. There's a group of guys who represent Keita's school friends. They constantly point out Keita's luck to have two hot sisters to love him, often causing Keita to fantasize about his sisters himself. There is also a loli who seems to have a crush on him. And we have Ako's teacher, who's also aforementioned loli's sister, an Otaku who tries to make Keita, Ako and Riko see their incestuous tendencies, are wrong. Their parents also have a small role. They're very stereotypical parents, except for the fact that dad encourages their love, and especially Keita's manliness. Last but not least we have Miharu Mikuni, a shy, glasses wearing, big-titted girl, who does the best job providing us with some interesting comedy.
Overall I think this is a more than decent anime. The main reason to watch this would be the hot brother-sister action you might be into, but i mostly decided to finish it because it just is a very entertaining anime.
So, if you're looking for an easy going anime, and wouldn't mind some interesting sexual scenes, this might be the anime you're looking for.
Keita Suminoe is a fifteen year old middle school student who only wants one thing... To pass his finals, and make it into the same high school as his older twin sisters, Ako and Riko. But he has two obstacles standing in his way. The first is that he’s far more athletic than scholarly, which makes studying and taking tests difficult for him to manage. And it’s not just them, either... One of his teachers, a fellow student that he accidentally groped, and a short loli-like girl from his school are all starving for a taste of his knob. What can poor Keita do when these women have so much love to give to him, and he only has about six inches to give to them?
KissXSis was allegedly animated by a small time company called Feel. Why do I say allegedly? Because it looks nowhere near as good as one of their other anime, So I Can’t Play H, whose incredible production values was it’s only redeeming factor. In fact, the difference in quality between these shows
