Feels weird to not post anything for a week so I just wanted to keep everyone updated on progress!
I decided to switch programs for my comic, I've been using photoshop for most of my life but their recent ... business decisions kinda broke the camels back and I decided to try out the alternatives. Currently learning to use Clipstudio(mangastudio) and it has a load of neat useful tools, however it is really lacking in some of the basic functions that photoshop has so expect a couple of the first pages to be a bit messy or janky.
Trying to get a printing deal for FullNightNanny from Estonia and go pick it up myself. It's small enough to be shipped as letter mail (or booklet or whatever) but currently covid restrictions are ramping up again and it's really hard to work on anything that's outside the country. I'm gettin my second vaccine dose this month tho so that will likely help travel a bit. Hopefully I can get the printing underway before end of the year!
Also, if anyone has any ideas on what the cover should look like and/or if there should be anything on the inner pages besides the comic, feel free to leave suggestions~
Also laying some groundwork for some other projects related to OSC. right now. Be confused and excite!

What is Photoshops “business decisions” of which you speak? I have had two major work projects I have had to revert to drawing by hand because photoshop crashes every 5-10 minutes. I didn’t know other people were having trouble. I will also be looking for alternatives.

If you haven’t, take a look into affinity photo and design

for the cover mayhaps you could try something Similar to what the Catherine box art did and include both tiddy bress and stummy

Which version of CSP do you use? The EX version can let you work on multiple pages at once, so that would be good for comics. If you still have trouble with some features and tools, you can always ask other artists that use CSP. By the way, if there’s something I’d like in the print version of Full Night Nanny, it would be guest art. I’d probably make the contribution lol. But aside from that, colored panel excerpts would be cool too.

U could start with ur new drawing tool and then open it in PS just in case you need something. Anyway remember to drink a lot of water before second dose so the symptoms(mostly fever) won't last too long, still remember I fever for four days strike after vaccine. Best wishes :3

I would not put anything spoilery on the cover, so definitely no couch cuddling or succubi Cindy on the cover ... but maybe on the inside back in full color.

And definitely will buy a copy.

Very interested by the idea of OSC-adjacent projects, maybe spinoffs? I'm loving this story and all the characters, so the idea of expanding it (huehue) is super exciting to me!

I've been using 2019 since.... 2019 and all the versions after that are just way laggier and destroyed some functions only for the sake of change. The problem with subscription based software is they have to come up with something new to make a new version so they don't test them and just change things and add random garbage.

I would like to sell it at 20 or 30 at best, but as it is shipping from finland to the rest of the world costs like 15 so it's really difficult. I'm still looking at options

I will soon be investing in a better version of clipsstudiopaint to do long lasting animations and I intend to practice like I did with Cindy so if you have any ideas to advertise your comic , I'll be able to create animated teaser;)

Kip, are you a Macintosh or Windows user? If you use a Mac my favorite Photoshop alternative is Pixelmator Pro. If there’s something that Clip Studio doesn’t do maybe you could use that for those functions.

I've never used it myself, but I believe The GIMP (https://www.gimp.org/) is supposed to be an OpenSource alternative to Photoshop.

It's not so much that I cannot do it in clipstudio, it's just a lot easier/convenient in photoshop so I'll just have to adjust my workflow to work around that

No I could not find a US based printing/distributing that allowed lewds. I plan to do it eventually but I don't have that many options right now.

I think a good idea for the cover would be to have Cindy and Connor sitting on the couch watching TV together.
