Kinsey Golden, from LA, was riding on the back of a motorcycle driven by her partner Trav Springer with her bum exposed when the pair were stopped.
A TOURIST pulled over by cops for wearing an "indecent" pair of bikini bottoms in the Philippines is an Instagram model with more than 40,000 followers, it can be revealed.
Kinsey Golden, from LA, was spotted riding on the back of a motorcycle driven by her partner Trav Springer with her bum exposed.
The pair were both asked to cover up, while cops also warned them they could be fined for driving without helmets.
An apologetic Trav has now told The Sun Online the pair weren't aware they were breaking any indecency rules at the time.
He said: "They then ever so kindly told us to please cover up, and we did immediately.
"They let us go shortly after without any problems. We didn't know the seriousness of being in swimming attire on a motorcycle, and we would like to apologise to anyone who we offended.
"We love the island and all the people, and hope we didn't offend anyone. We made some amazing friends, and loved our travels here. Thank you to the police officers for keeping us safe, and explaining to us ever so kindly to cover up."
Photos show that Trav was topless and Kinsey was wearing a white top with a pair of bikini pants that exposed her bottom to passing motorists.
Cops were seen pulling her over and ordering her to cover up her bare buttocks with a sarong.
A police spokesman said: ''Baclayon Police Station led by Senior Inspector Raymond Halasan, chief of police and his Women and Children Protection Desk officer Christine Vidal flagged down the two indecent foreigners riding a motorcycle, issued violation tickets to them.''
The couple were allowed to continue their journey in the popular resort.
Local officials have now vowed to create new legislation to crack down on anyone not wearing proper attire away from the region's beaches.
Senior Inspector Romar Labasbas added: ''We are reminding tourists to please observe proper decorum even if they are guests in this place."
