Few cities in the world have a reputation in the fetish community like Berlin. The well-known fetish events 'Ostertreffen’ and 'Folsom Europe' certainly play an important role in this, with parties organised especially for them. In the queer fetish bars, you can also meet other people from the community outside of these events. Above all, you can celebrate your fetish in Berlin - especially in these clubs and routinely organised parties!
Anyone who mentions fetish in Berlin can hardly avoid the Saturday party at the "KitKatClub". The "Carnival Bizarre" is known and loved far beyond the city limits. People of all genders and sexual orientations meet here, and the boundaries of the different categories dissolve to a certain extent. The "KitKat" is fully equipped with several dance floors playing a selection of the best techno music in town , a swimming pool, swings, a sauna, a large lounge area where sometimes a live band plays jazz, a small sweet shop, and lots of play areas for different kinds of play - from bondage to S&M to doctoring. There are professionals working here from time to time, so sometimes you'll see a person hanging from the ceiling in bondage. There is a strict fetish dress code and photos are strictly forbidden at "KitKat". (jm)

Photos are strictly forbidden not only at "KitKat" and "Berghain", Berlin's most famous Techno club, but also at "Lab.Oratory", which is housed in the same building as "Berghain". The "Lab" is considered by many to be the roughest sex and fetish club in the city. It is usually only open to men, but on a few evenings other sexes are also welcome. Fetish parties take place at the weekend, and the website tells you exactly which ones are currently planned. Parties for clothing fetishes like rubber, leather, sportswear, workwear, or suit and tie alternate with piss parties, fisting nights, and sometimes even scat events. So, it's worth finding out exactly what's on the programme at any given time. (jm)

The "Club Culture Houze" is housed in an old building on the edge of Görlitzer Park in Kreuzberg. It has a beautiful façade and is also completely inconspicuous. And it certainly has a lot going for it. On two floors, the 'Club Culture Houze' provides one playground after the next, well-equipped with toys for fetish fans. They meet at events like the 'Salon Zoe' party with a focus on BDSM, at Puppy evenings, at sports and underwear parties, and at Fist evenings. Unlike many other sex clubs and parties, the 'Club Culture Houze' occasionally organises evenings for FLINTA*s. Details can be found on the website. (jv)

The "Bösen Buben" (the Bad Boys) club specialises in BDSM in its many forms. Founded by and for spankers, spanking and SM are still the main focus of attention. There are also plenty of opportunities for this in the club's variously equipped and recently renovated premises in Schöneberg. The programme also offers a lot of variety beyond this core element - on some evenings, everything revolves around fisting at "Bösen Buben", while other times the focus is on the most prolonged blowjob possible at the "Cocksucker Contest". If you want to get to know the "Bösen Buben" first, you can drop by on Friday evenings. All BDSM and fetish friends come together here for "Open Friday" in a relaxed atmosphere. You can find more events and all the details, including the respective dress codes, on the website. (jm)

The ‘Quälgeist’ club is one of the favourite clubs for many fetish lovers in Berlin. The club used to be located on Mehringdamm in Kreuzberg, but has since relocated to Mariendorf, bringing fetish life to this district just outside the city centre. The big advantage is that guests now have around 300 square metres of space at their disposal, equipped with slings, St. Andrew's cross, racks, and everything else their hearts might desire. 'Quälgeist' is also distinguished by its extremely varied programme. In addition to the routinely held S&M Tuesdays, there are bondage evenings, dates for impact play and age play, or meetings of clothing fetishists, for example those who fetishize work and farm wear. Although ‘Quälgeist’ is predominantly aimed at gay men, there are also several dates that are earmarked for other genders and sexual orientations. (ps)

Because you've probably already crossed these five erotic vacations off your bucket list, here are seven of the world's kinkiest adult festivals to pencil into your pocket calendar -- all ranked from wholesomely virginal to downright debaucherous.
Ease into erotica the old fashioned way (think Dad's vintage Playboys stashed under your mattress) -- by looking, not touching. Over three days, you'll ogle provocative pieces in all mediums, as well as enjoy raunchy readings, titillating burlesque, and erotic short films; all capped off by a raucous dance party dubbed the Late Night Festival -- too bad the last thing you want to do after three days of watching p*rn is dance .
So, your girlfriend doesn’t like you watching adult films… but what if she's in one!? Still no? Gotcha. Well, in any case, don't let that stop you from enjoying the HUMP! Film Festival (alone), which bills itself as the "sexiest, funnest, most creative dirty movie fest in the world". Basically, amateur directors submit five-minute tapes of people doing sex in order to compete in categories like "Best Kink".
The Ponderosa Sun Club, a family (run?) nudist resort , is world famous for its annual nude beauty pageant during which gorgeous women compete for the title of Miss Nude Galaxy. Mind you, this goes down in Indiana. And Ron Jeremy is a judge. That’s not all, there's also exotic dancing, a wet t-shirt contest, a "Screaming O" competition, and a series of other random lewd acts to help make it one of the more raunchy weekend getwaways you'll ever take. Just so you know, the woman pictured above -- 4th place (!!). If that tells you anything about the competition.
Despite the catchy name, Sexpo, The Sexuality and Adult Lifestyle Exhibition (as it's officially known) is pretty much sex fest light; the event features amateur strip tease, professional pole dancing, and naughty hypnotists, as well as some of the biggest adult film stars in the biz. Hundreds of exhibitors peddle the latest and greatest in kinky toys.
Packed with the county's foremost adult stars, the Kutemajrvi Sex Festival takes place in a stunningly scenic little village and features live bands, strip shows, exotic dancers, a sex toy expo, and the famous Aphrodite competition, which is a beauty pageant that may or may not involve nudity. Hailed as the most sophisticated of fests, there're even professional lectures on sex and sexuality from some of the world's top researchers in the field.
The world's largest leather event, Folsom (as the locals call it) has been dominating the BDSM and fetish scene since Bolero was in theaters -- ahhhh Bo Derek. Spread over 13 historic city blocks, it's pretty much like your favorite summer block party (live tunes, games, food stalls) but with sex toys, public floggings, and people bound, gagged, and dressed in latex. If they're dressed at all.
Since prostitution is legal in Denmark, the Danes had to find a way to turn the kink up a notch. With whips, chains, piercings, and strippers galore, they succeeded in creating a super-hedonistic convention ripe with booths that cater to literally any and every fantasy or fringe fetish, no matter how depraved. It's like a wild S&M Comic Con, but with whips.

'Menacing' seagull disrupts beach video

As we sit in the freezing climes, I’m sure I’m not the only person dreaming about upcoming holidays.
Where are you thinking this year? Looking for a beach holiday? Something by the pool? Maybe a city break, or even a staycation?
Or how about packing your best latex and jetting off somewhere to enjoy a different kind of hedonism?
We’re lucky enough to live in a country that is home to kink clubs such as Torture Garden, and conventions such as Eroticon .
But where do you go when the kind of sightseeing you’re into doesn’t include the local ruins?
Let’s set off on a round-the-world trip to some of the world’s best sex parties.
Berlin: Mere hours away is the city that has become world-famous for it’s hedonistic, open-minded, artsy approach to all things life and sex.
When asking a friend if they wanted to meet up for a drink one night, he replied: ‘I’ve just spent a week in a latex puppy suit in Berlin.’
One of the most infamous clubs is Berghain , a techno-filled warehouse which will stay open for days, mainly because it seems that once people are in, they want to stay in for fear of never being allowed past the bouncers ever again.
I’m 36, so the thought of queuing for hours and not being let in just because I don’t look sullen enough is enough to make me stay at home with the vibrator.
If you’re looking for something more opulent, the parties at Castle Milkersdorf sound much more laid back: opulent surroundings, castle location, and no techno.
Copenhagen: Once a year, Copenhagen hosts the Kinky Salon (or what used to be called ‘Kinky Copenhagen’) a fun, playful, sexy festival that invites all sizes, shapes, genders and disability statuses.
You have to bring a PAL with you (Pervy Activity Liaison), so you have the reassurance of being there with at least one friend to help everything stay safe, sane and consensual.
It’s as secretive as it is sexy, with few details about tickets or dates unless you subscribe to the mailing list by giving them a few details about yourself, and how you can help the community.
Personally, I love the openness and community feel of this, but I can absolutely understand if you prefer the dark, anonymous corners of somewhere like Berghain.
As long as you roll your eyes at any mention of The Little Mermaid, you’ll fit right in with the locals.
San Francisco: You can’t really be a fully fledged member of the kink community without having heard of the Folsom Street Fair .
On 30th September, 200,000 people are expected to descend on the city to enjoy dance arenas, food drink, live demonstrations and exhibitors selling toys and equipment to fetish enthusiasts.
It’s more like a huge fetish fair than a sex party as the e
