Hello Kink Lovers! Welcome to our list of the best kinky dating sites of 2022. I’ve done my research and here are the best of the best when it comes to meeting kinky partners online.
I really want the readers here at Kink Lovers to understand WHY I chose these sites, so after I list them I’m going to answer some additional questions that will hopefully make things clear. I understand how hard it can be to find legitimate reviews of legitimate sites these days, so hopefully, I can help you weed through the nonsense and make a selection that suits your kinky needs.
Disclosure: I have or had a full membership at all of the following sites. Once I’m comfortable recommending a site I sometimes use links that provide a small commission when a reader decides to upgrade. It costs nothing extra, but helps keep our kinky blog going!
If you join just one kinky site this year, head to Alt.com and enjoy the largest kink dating community. This is one of the sites that I’ve kept a long-time membership at because it simply has more to offer than all the rest in terms of membership numbers and features. Not everyone in the lifestyle thinks it’s the cat’s pajamas, but for the average person looking for kinky hookups and a fun, anything-goes platform, Alt.com can’t be beat. Make your kink and fetish clear in your profile, and get ready to connect with kinky like-minded people who’d like to explore with you.
Another veteran of kinky dating, BDSM Singles continues to deliver and is still going strong. They could use a bit of an upgrade design-wise, but they still make it to the Kink Lovers list for their longevity which has led to the all-important aspect of membership numbers. Lots of kinky singles to be found here, and the features are simple and straightforward. You can’t narrow things down by fetish as easily as you can at Alt, but if you’re seeking people into your specific fetish, then I recommend you go even more niche and try a fetish dating site that matches your kink. See our post on fetish dating sites for every kink.
Couples Dating isn’t specifically a site for kink and fetish but it does cater to some kinky communities, so let me tell you a bit about it. Couples Dating is part of the AdultFriendFinder.com network which means the member base is massive, so finding couples or a unicorn here is no problem. They also offer features you won’t find on any mainstream hookup site such as streaming video chat, and nudity is completely welcome.
Couples Dating is the site I often recommend for people who’s kink involves multiple partners, group sex, or threesomes. For example, cuckold couples and hotwife lovers frequent this site. So if you’re looking for a third, or want to find cuckolding couples and bulls , create a profile and check them out.
While it’s true that some people consider themselves “kinky” in general, there are many who know exactly what turns them on and identify with one kink in particular. Some are foot fetishists, some are bondage lovers, and others.. well, the list could go on and on! That’s why I’ve been working hard to put together more pages that list the best sites for people with niche tastes. If this applies to you then maybe one of the following posts will be of help..
More social network than dating site, FetLife is just as good for making friends in the lifestyle as it is for meeting kinky potential partners. I don’t suggest this site if you’re looking to make quick connections and find easy hookups. It’s more community-based and success on this site comes when you allow yourself to become a little more involved. For example, there are many, many discussion groups for particular kinks, and even member blogs like Alt.com offers. If you have a specific fetish you might consider joining in a group chat where you can then move onto one-on-one chat, or start ‘following’ the pages of members who are like-minded. Basically a sort of kinky facebook. Fetlife is not entirely free but it offers a lot without an upgrade. Members will need to upgrade if they want in on all the hot videos that are available.
When looking for the best kinky sites for dating and hookups, you may have noticed lists that contain upwards of 10 or more sites for BDSM , kink, and fetish. It’s enough to make your head spin, and to be honest it can be quite misleading in many cases. This is because there are really only a handful of legitimate sites in this niche.
What’s happening here? Well, often a site will have many different brands, but the inside is the same. For example, this can happen when a company like Hubpeople, who operates Sub-or-Dom.com , offers marketers the opportunity to re-brand their sites. So sometimes when you see ads on Google for BDSM or kinky dating sites, many of them are actually leading you to the same place. Another example of this is BDSMdate.com , which has the same members and inner workings as Alt.com, with just some minor differences.
I don’t want to offer you a list of sites where half of them are the same once you reach the inside. So the sites above are all unique with their own database of members. By the way, the whole practice is called “whitelabeling”, and it’s really not a bad thing, but occasionally it can get confusing.
There are a couple reasons I don’t have any kinky apps on our list here at Kink Lovers. First of all, I still haven’t found one that makes the grade. There are some well intentioned apps out there, but as of writing this none of them have the numbers or popularity that allow me to recommend them. Finding a kinky partner is hard enough, I’m not going to send our readers to an app where they can’t connect with thousands of local kinksters. When this changes, I’ll post those apps.
Secondly, I’m a nudist. Haha, what!? Okay not really, but as a frequent user of niche dating sites I’ve gotten kind of addicted to the naughtiness, nudity, and free-for-all attitude that comes with the best kinky sites. The apps out there are too tame for me!
The reason sites like Alt.com and the others don’t have apps in the App Store or on Google Play? Simply, Apple and the big G don’t allow apps with nudity. And there is so much naughty action on these sites that it’s impossible for them to create PG versions that would be acceptable to the censors. It’s not just profile photos either – Alt.com is full of user-generated videos that are just too exciting for apps!
I hope you find what you’re looking for on one of these sites. I do my best to point our readers in the right direction and wish you all the best of luck!

Braiding hair is not the only way to get a cool protective hairstyle. Twists are just as fun, diverse and easy to do. Want a natural-looking protective style? Try kinky twists! Kinky twists styles can be done in a variety of ways, by playing with styling options and creativity. They are not only great as a protective look for your natural hair but also add memorable style moments.
If you’ve always wanted to give them a try, the pictures below are sure to provide many chic options. Whether worn up, down or in a funky style creation, kinky twists are one of the hottest afro hairstyles.
Many kinky twist hairstyles feature daring hair color combinations, and this one is no different. Here, you have black twists that are accented with tight and shiny golden blonde curls at the ends.
Kinky twists done on shorter hair are soft and manageable. They are not heavy at all and so cute in movement. A pretty golden chain is a beautiful way to accessorize your hairstyle with twists. Plus it’s practical, since it holds the face-framing twists from falling into your face.
It should be well-known by now that a Bob looks good with any type of texture, kinky twists included. This edgy take on Bob is punctuated by marsala hair color and deep side bangs.
If you thought that kinky twists couldn’t be sexy, this hairstyle totally proved you wrong. These dark brown kinky twists with light brown highlights are swept to the side nonchalantly as an easy and so appealing cute style.
This collection of photos displays just how versatile kinky twists can be. Here, you have an updo with a braid, worn to the side. Looks chic!
Long kinky twists are unarguably the best way to go when you want a textured loose hairstyle with no frizz and excessive volume. Long braids or twists also allow for more styling options and freedom. You literally have countless options at your fingertips. Take, for instance, this side-swept style that requires little-to-no effort, while looking totally fabulous.
Give your kinky twist hair some added color by creating a gorgeous ombre effect. Two-tone twists are adorable in Mohawk updos and buns. Here’s a perfect hairstyle – in color, texture and silhouette.
Next time you visit a hair salon, consider a twisted hairstyle with curly ends. Leaving the bottoms of your twists loose and curled gives your look a fun, feminine edge. The style in the photo frames the face nicely and is perfect as a lightweight happy summer option.
Add some pretty color to those short kinky twists and make them REALLY stand out. Have some fun and try a bright hue — like purple — on for size. The shade can be weaved sporadically into each twist so the style shows only some glimpses of color. Your hair will look like a prismatic masterpiece.
Take a more formal approach to kinky twist braids. Separate the front pieces and sweep them across the face like bangs. Gather the rest of the hair to the top of the head and pin it down with bobby pins. This look is ideal for a date night or a formal, black-tie affair. You’ll be the belle of the ball!
If you’re contemplating over how to do kinky twists with a personal touch, consider color. While natural raven-colored twists are all well and good, coppery, auburn braids are lovely and, more importantly, totally unexpected. Make the shade transition nicely from light to slightly darker, so you’ve got a well-blended balayage in twists.
Headed to a fancy soireé or a hot date? Try an interesting updo that will make those braids a bit fancier than usual. And don’t worry about making it too complicated for yourself. Simply create a messy bun and allow a few strands to fall down your forehead like some wispy bangs.
Take your kinky twists on a vacation and let them fly free. Wear those small, twisted strands loose and natural around the shoulders, topping them off with a beautiful exotic flower. Floral accents are perfect for adding a little special something to an otherwise plain hairstyle.
Crimson-colored hair is huge right now, so why not add a fiery element to your twisted style? The color may also be subtle, but it’s still super noticeable when worn in half-updos and ponytails, so don’t be afraid to experiment a little.
Shoulder length strands don’t need to be basic. Give your medium-length ‘do an upgrade by making a few (yes, just a few) braids blonde. This will brighten your dark hair without being a total hair overhaul. Sometimes the smallest adjustments and accents produce the biggest payoff.
Kinky twist styles can take on all lengths and shapes. Jump on-board more than one trend by wearing your twisted strands in a long bob. The shoulder-length shape still allows for plenty of versatility and styling options, so don’t worry about being limited there. You can go half-up, pony-style or even the bun route.
If you’ve got a round face shape, a side part is a great way to elongate it. So, next time you style that bobbed twisted hair, try sweeping it over and allowing it fall to one side. It may seem like a small change, but you’ll definitely notice a difference in your appearance.
Everyone loves a good hybrid style that thick, bobbed twists deliver. Because of its shorter length and layers, the look takes on a fuller, more voluminous shape. Think of it as a sort of afro. Big hair is always a good idea, especially when you’re looking to turn heads.
In the land of kinky twist hairstyles, this ‘do might be the most accessible. The pure simplicity and chic-ness of the style makes it a winner. All you need to do is throw on an elastic headband to sweep the hair back and — voila — instant hairdo. This is perfect for those days you don’t have a ton of time to fuss with your small kinky twists.
Are you overwhelmed with images of twisted hairstyles and not even sure where to begin? Start simple with the easiest and most classic style in the book: a ponytail. Throw your hair up into a casual pony and top it off with a funky headband. While simple as can be, the look delivers a cool, glam vibe.
We all want to look like those hair wizards we see in pictures and on Instagram with the beautiful, complex-looking hair styles that are literally flawless. Well, guess what? You can look like the perfect-hair girls in photos, too! Sometimes it’s just a matter of upgrading a current hairstyle you’ve already mastered, like a half-up do. Try twisting the front-side pieces of hair back and securing them with an elastic band. Then take the rest of your hair and pull it into a loose and low braid.
Talk about a kinky twist! If you thought your hair couldn’t get any more twisted, think again. Make things interesting by curling the ends. This will add some body, enhance texture and shape of the look, especially if you have layers. Just when you thought your hair was looking good, it got even better.
If you’re still skeptical about red and black hair, try this on for size. Make red more prominent on the bottom half of the hair and layer out the locks for structure and shape. This will make the color look like it’s cascading down your back.
Sometimes a girl just needs to throw on a bandana and call it a day. Your thicker, twisted strands are beautiful on their own but a cute, festive accessory ups the ante for sure. This look is perfect for a picnic, pool party or other summer-centric event.
Even short kinky twists are far from being boring, and the full-frontal hairdo does prove this for sure. Strategically braid your hair to the front and allow it to hang loosely onto your forehead. What’s better than braided twists, you ask? Braided twists with a side of fringe, of course.
Kinky twists styles don’t get any easier than this one. This high bun is one of the best ways to fashion your kinky twists into an updo. It’s worn high on the head and slightly off to one side. Customize your twists with a hue that compliments your skin tone.
You do not need extra long twists to come up with a beautiful formal updo. This discreet updo hairstyle is conservative yet stylish, and very flattering to a variety of face shapes.
The best way to add depth and dimension to your kinky twists is to opt for a layered style with highlights. These highlights are bright and they do a great job of adding shine and accentuating the texture of the twists.
One way to personalize your kinky twist hairstyles is to add spiral curls to ends. They will create a lovely texture that looks particularly flattering in ponytails or loose buns.
Here is another example of adorable kinky twists. They are short, but the texture and feel they give are inimitable. We also love this light chocolate and blonde shades – simply gorgeous!
How to do kinky twists? In case you didn’t know, kinky twist hair can be created in a few ways, including twisting your own natural Afro hair, then also with Marley hair, and as crochet twists. The gallery of images we shared with you demonstrates ideas on how you can style and color your kinky twists to give them a fun, flirty, conservative or edgy look of your choice.

In a post- Fifty Shades of Grey world, kink (and kinky sex toys) is arguably more mainstream than it’s ever been. Of course, it's always been normal on some level— studies show that nearly half of all adults have had at least one kinky desire before. It’s possible that number is even higher, since not everyone feels able to own up to their fetishistic proclivities.
Of course, like sex toys in general, being kinky is nothing to be ashamed of. It’s actually a perfectly healthy and relatively common expression of human sexuality—as long as you have good consent practices in place, like pre-negotiating what you’re going to do in any given session and picking a safeword before you start.
One of the things that can make BDSM feel intimidating is all the “equipment” associated with it. If you’ve ever seen a movie or TV show that depicted a dominatrix or other explicitly kinky character, odds are good that they were in a room decked out with floggers, leather harnesses, sex furniture, and other kinky sex toys. That stuff can be scary at first blush, but don’t worry—there are lots of beginner-friendly toys out there that make getting into BDSM a breeze. Here are some of our favorites.
Metal handcuffs can cut off your circulation, while leather ones often take too long to put on, especially in the heat of the moment. These strong-yet-stretchy silicone cuffs, on the other hand, are super comfortable and easy to slip on or off in a hurry.
Cuffing someone’s wrists and ankles to the bed can make them feel thrillingly vulnerable, and this nifty bondage set will let you do just that. Its long straps slide underneath your mattress, so the attached cuffs are always close at hand when you need them.
Rope bondage—an art form which originated in Japan and is also known as shibari or kinbaku— can be a deeply intimate, connective way of getting kinky with a partner. This rope is made of soft cotton for a smooth glide against the skin. There are lots of great rope bondage books, videos, and classes out there that you can learn from, but just make sure to always keep a pair of safety shears nearby in case of emergencies!
This is technically just a sleep mask and was not designed for kinky purposes, but it’s the best blindfold out there nonetheless. The adjustable strap fits multiple head sizes, the contoured shape truly keeps light out, and the convex eye cups are amazingly comfy.
The helplessness and mild embarrassment involved in wearing a ballgag is hot for lots of kinksters. This set is well-suited for newbies: it comes with three differently-sized balls so you can find your perfect fit, and each one has holes in it to help you breathe more easily.
These clamps are adjustable, so you can make them looser or tighter depending on your pain tolerance. Try tugging on the chain periodically during sex for a burst of exquisite pain.
