- skin definitely looks hydrated & plump after (I’ve had a few comments that I look ‘fresh’, WIN!) - light weight - I need almost 2 pumps to cover my whole face - feels like a silicone when you’re putting it on (I’m not familiar with the science of ingredients...so just my observations), but doesn’t leave a residue - gentle on my sensitive skin. It’s one of the few serums that doesn’t feel tingly applying it - my skins is definitely feeling better since switching to this serum - not great under my regular mineral powder foundation (as in, it won’t stick to my nose) - would recommend this for evening use based on the make up situation for me
My skin doctor introduced me to the Hydro-Plumping Serum about 2 years ago when I was under a micro-needling skin treatment. After needling, my skin was super sensitive. I was recommended to use Hydro-Pluming twice a day and it was totally a treat for my fragile skin at that time. This serum is light but has the power of healing and moisturizing to its core. I remember my friend stayed over for a couple of nights that she tried this serum on her skin. She ended up buying it for herself. I am still using it until now. I think it's one of the products from Kiehls that I would commit for long time, given that it's comparably cheaper than the Asian skincare products that I often used.
I got a sample of the serum and I used it before I go to bed that day. The next morning I was stunned and surprised by the effect of the serum, my skin looks so much smoother and hydrated. I was very careful with the amount I used and the small packet of serum lasted for a week, I only meet my boyfriend once a week and immediately he could tell the difference when he saw me (he didn't know about the serum). Then I knew I had to get it despite the price. I use it every day and night, my bumpy, dull and dry-combination skin is improving everyday, I recommended this to all my friends too. (Although I'm just 23 but my skin condition is very bad). It is as magical to me as it claims, so try it everyone!!!
I am a nurse and being in the air-conditioner all day everyday, working with PPE and not being able to consume as much water on shift this product has changed my entire skin. i am an international student that is studying abroad now in Melbourne. The weather at my home country was always humid and my skin was not experiencing any dryness even just with a simple 3 steps skincare routine (toner, moisturizer, sunscreen).

I firstly need to point out I have very dry damaged skin with multiple areas of dry scales due to psoriasis so when I tried this serum I wasn’t expecting much, boy was I wrong! I took the serum on holidays with me me and was using it alone on my skin and I saw a huge improvement, my skin started to improve immediately, with my patches of dry skin cleared up and my complexion improved overall taking on a more luminous look. I got online and ordered thie full size item before I returned from holiday! I highly recommend this product!...
I don’t normally write reviews, but I just had to because I absolutely love this product! I’ve had dry, patchy and sensitive skin for as long as I can remember and have tried many other products. Nothing compares to this serum. I use it with Rosa Arctica cream, and even after a day in an air conditioned office, or a day out in the sun.. my skin still feels smooth, fresh and hydrated. It’s honestly a godsend. Also, a little goes a long way. Its my favourite Kiehl’s product by far, and one I definitely can’t live without.
I have tried lots of different hyaluronic acid serums but none really seem to do too much so I ages this ago and its magic. I put on every morning after other serums and it makes my skin feel refreshed (and its cooling). It doesn't last all day but definitely works. It also makes moisturisers you may layer over the top far for long lasting and effective although sometimes I find this is enough. You only need a little so it's pretty good value. It's become my winter skin necessity.
