Google Trends visualizes the relative search popularity of a keyword gradually. For instance, if we look at the term "outfits" for the past 5 years, we see that popularity spikes every October. This is since of Halloween. However how is this helpful for keyword research? For starters, it can help you plan your material calendar.

Publishing or republishing a list of the "10 Scariest Halloween Costumes for 20XX" each September/October makes best sense. Here's a less apparent example: Interest in "i, Phone specifications" peaks every September when Apple introduces a brand-new i, Phone. If you run a tech blog, it would make sense to upgrade and republish any related posts every September.

Take a look at these 2: If you could just produce content for among these keywords, which would you pick? It 'd be the one with the greatest search volume, right? Not so quick, because taken across lots of months or years. If we check information for the previous 12 months just in Google Trends, we see that look for "apple watch series 5" just recently overtook those for "apple watch series 3."So if you were running an ecommerce store and had to prioritize among these keywords, it would almost definitely be "apple watch series 5."After all, searches for the Series 3 are only going to reduce as time goes on.

For example, if we browse for "bitcoin," we get one hundred keyword concepts including that word along with their estimated month-to-month search volumes. We also see a list of 50 question-type queries. For the first ten keywords on each list, we also show the Keyword Trouble (KD) rating. This is a number in between 0100 that estimates ranking problem.
