Kenny Chesney Announces Surprise Album Release and World Tour

Country music superstar Kenny Chesney has sent shockwaves through the music industry with the unexpected announcement of a brand-new album, Island Time, set to drop on November 17, 2023. The surprise reveal came during a live appearance on Good Morning America, where Chesney also unveiled plans for a massive 2024 world tour, aptly named the No Shoes Nation World Tour.

Fans were thrilled as Chesney performed the album's lead single, Saltwater Soul, a breezy, feel-good anthem that perfectly captures his signature island-inspired sound. The song immediately climbed to the top of the iTunes Country Chart within hours of its release.

In a heartfelt statement, Chesney shared, 'This album is a love letter to my fans and to the places that have shaped who I am. The No Shoes Nation World Tour will kick off in March 2024, with stops in over 50 cities across North America, Europe, and Australia. Notably, Chesney will perform at several iconic stadiums, including Boston’s Fenway Park and Nashville’s Nissan Stadium. Special guests for the tour include rising country star Lainey Wilson and fan-favorite Zac Brown Band.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale October 20, with pre-sale access for members of Chesney’s No Shoes Nation fan club. Industry insiders predict the tour will be one of the highest-grossing of 2024, given Chesney’s reputation for delivering high-energy, unforgettable live performances.
