Life in plastic, it’s fantastic — just ask the living “Ken” doll.
Botox boy-toy Jimmy Featherstone, 22, has shelled out over $14,000 on lip fillers, cheek implants and veneers toward sculpting himself into Barbie’s handsome hunk of arm candy, Ken.
And whether he’ll be paying with paper or plastic, the wannabe doll says his costly cosmetic transformation journey is just getting started.
“I have had lots of procedures done in the last 12 months but this is only the beginning,” Featherstone told SWNS.
“If I had to describe what I want to look like, it would be a Ken doll. I just think he’s plastic fantastic and looks amazing.”
Featherstone, a native of Hull — which is a small city in northeastern England — works in his hometown as a director at a friend’s boutique.
He left high school at 16, and — in true Barbie fashion — has since held down a number of jobs in order to earn enough money to pay for his Ken doll cosmetic procedures and pretty upkeep.
“I have always been someone who wants to stand out from the crowd,” said the self-purported “diva.”
“And now I even want to look a bit more out there than I already do. I want to look more plastic — that’s the aesthetic I like.”
Featherstone gets his sandy-brown hair styled on a weekly basis, regularly spends over $400 on lip and cheek fillers and is gearing up to get a nose job in the coming months.
And his high-priced physique comes with a high-roller’s lifestyle to match — including shopping sprees at Chanel and Moncler, Champagne lunches and helicopter rides just for fun.
Featherstone even threw himself a nearly $3,000 birthday extravaganza earlier this month.
“It was very classy and absolutely fabulous. Some people have compared it to a wedding,” he bragged.
The swanky celebration was made complete with a three-tier cake, fireworks on entry, a bouquet of flowers laced with money and limousine transportation services.
“I just love going all out and getting people talking. What can I say?” Featherstone said coyly. “If there’s a party I’ll organize a limo and get makeup artists along, it’s just what I enjoy doing. I like the finer things in life.”
And that goes for the men in his life, too.
Featherstone is slated to appear in an upcoming UK reality TV series. He hopes to find love while filming — preferably with a silver fox who’s got a lot of green.
“My ex was older than my dad, so people know me for being with older men. I’ve always been attracted to them,” he said.
“I don’t think anyone my age can give me the lifestyle that I want, whereas someone who is older and has made their money can,” the Barbie-to-be added, noting that he loves to get all dolled up in designer clothes and be whisked away on lavish vacations.
And for any internet trolls turning up their noses at his Ken-inspired lip, cheek and nose jobs, Featherstone said: “The way I see it, if people are talking about me then I’ve done something right.
“I don’t care what people think or say. I’m doing what I enjoy.”

She’s been undergoing a string of new surgeries since coming out as transgender in 2020 – and now Jessica Alves looks completely unrecognisable.
The 38-year-old rose to fame after spending thousands having surgeries to transform into the “human Ken doll”.
But two years ago, Jessica – who lives in London – revealed she was actually transgender , and has spent the last two years altering her appearance as well as having gender reassignment surgery.
Now, after having more than 100 cosmetic procedures costing more than $1.4 million, Jessica l ooks completely different to her “Human Ken doll” days when she was known as Justin.
Photos of the media personality leaving the Kamol Cosmetic Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand show the results of her latest surgeries – which include undergoing a full facelift, head reduction surgery and a voice pitch change, The Sun reports.

Jessica was rocking natural make-up for her hospital stay, with lash extensions, a flush of blush and red nail polish.
Previously, the former UK Celebrity Big Brother housemate opened up about the struggle she faces with her voice as a trans woman, saying her “androgynous” tone left people confused.
“My current voice is considered androgynous. It isn’t a male voice but it isn’t a female voice either which leaves people very confused over the phone as they don’t know if they are talking to a man or a woman,” she previously told MailOnline .
However Jessica, who had her first surgery aged 17, has also detailed her excitement experiencing life as a woman including having sex for the first time – explaining she has “always felt like Barbie”.
“The aesthetics of my vagina is exactly the same as a biological vagina. I look at it all the time,” she told a UK breakfast show This Morning in February 2021.
“In three months’ time it’s going to behave in the same way as a biological vagina; it’s elastic and it self-lubricates as well.”
She also revealed she spent $24,000 on the surgery, called penile-peritoneal vaginoplasty, where her abdominal and peritoneal lining was used to create her vagina.
Jessica, who was born Rodrigo Alves in Brazil, almost became emotional during the interview as she explained: “My life will start now.”
Jessica started hormone therapy in September 2019 before starting to transition in January 2020.
She was formerly known as the “human Ken doll” but explained deep down she was “unhappy”.
Jessica now shares inspiring messages on her social media accounts alongside pictures of her new body.
In a recent post, she wrote: “There will come a time when you believe everything is finished. Yet that will be the beginning.”
A Kiwi model who has done work for Playboy and Maxim has issued a warning to other young women after her breast implants sparked a crippling illness.
Ever look back at photos of yourself and wish you could bring back the radiance of your 20s? This new treatment helps ease wrinkles and redness from the inside out.
A woman who was “obsessed” with losing weight says she’s happier now than a “perfect” size 10 – revealing surgery isn’t the answer.

'I'M BARBIE' 'Human Ken Doll' reveals she's now a girl called Jessica - and wants a baby
Life in plastic What did Jessica Alves aka Human Ken Doll look like before plastic surgery?
JESSICA Alves has changed her face and body beyond belief in the last two years alone, and has spent thousands on cosmetic surgery since she was a teen.
The TV star - who came out as transgender last year - has spent a staggering £725,000 transforming every inch of her body since she was 17 years old and was formerly known as the 'Human Ken Doll'.
The Brazilian star, who lives in London, rose to fame on reality TV shows about plastic surgery addicts and appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2018.
And now, she's even landed a dating show on Netflix, which will see her travel around the world in a bid to try to find love - and the father of her baby.
Jessica's most recent surgery was her second breast augmentation, which she said would transform her “saggy” DDs into GGs, and be a better fit for her frame.
Jessica based her bustier look on the late Hollywood actress and Playboy model Anna Nicole Smith – who died from a drugs overdose in 2007.
She said: “When I was around 14, I used to love her style, she had big hair, was glamorous, with beautiful breasts and was just stunning.
“I guess that’s where it started, I loved Anna’s curves, her femininity and how glamorous she was.”
Since Jessica started living as a woman in November 2019, she has gone under the knife multiple times to enhance her womanly figure.
While known as the 'Human Ken Doll', she spent £650,000 transforming her body – including removing four ribs and having ab implants to look like she had a six-pack.
But after dressing as a woman for a photoshoot three years ago, Jessica felt comfortable and accepted she was always destined to be female.
She had butt and hips implants as well as facial feminisation surgery.
As part of the alteration, Jessica's jawline, chin and brow bones were shaved and implants were put near her temples to give a “really feminine look”.
One of her biggest ops was gender reassignment surgery – Penile-Peritoneal Vaginoplasty – which took place in Bangkok, Thailand, in February.
Surgeons used Jessica's abdominal (peritoneal) lining, which is elastic and self-lubricates, to create a vaginal canal.
They also used penis tissue to construct a labia and a visible vagina during the six-hour operation.
Now, having undergone a sex change, Jessica says she “couldn’t be happier” with the results.
