Kelli Rachelle McCarty (born September 6, 1969) is an American actress, model, and photographer who was crowned Miss USA in 1991. [1] She is best known for her role as Beth Wallace on the U.S. television soap opera Passions from 1999-2006.

McCarty won the Miss USA beauty contest in 1991, [1] competing as Miss Kansas USA . A student at Wichita State University and a member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority, her victory was celebrated because it took place in Kansas , her home state, and because it marked the first time a contestant from Kansas had won the title. [2] She was later a finalist in the Miss Universe pageant.
In the mid-1990s, McCarty went on to pursue a career in acting and had her television debut as a guest star on comedy series Dream On . McCarty went on to have a recurring role as Ms. Lovelson in the Disney Channel Original Series Even Stevens and also appeared on Beverly Hills, 90210 , Melrose Place , Phil of the Future , That's So Raven and Beyond the Break . She appeared on an episode of the dating show Baggage . [3] In 2002 she earned a singing credit for her performance in the Shia LaBeouf comedy series Even Stevens in the episode titled Influenza: The Musical . [4]
On NBC Daytime 's soap opera Passions she appeared as Beth Wallace , the hardworking high school sweetheart and ex-fiancée of the handsome Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald . [5] McCarty had the role of Beth from 1999 until her character was killed off in a train explosion in 2006. In all she is credited with 284 episodes of the show; Passions ended its run in 2008. [6]
McCarty also appeared in a number of softcore adult films during her career. [7] Then in 2008 she approached adult entertainment company Vivid Entertainment about the idea of appearing in one of their productions. McCarty stipulated in her contract with Vivid that she would have involvement with casting the film as well as writing, editing, and have final approval over everything. McCarty has gone on to appear in a series of performances that include a starring role in the 2010 crime drama Dangerous Attractions , [13] a multi-episode appearance on the television series Co-Ed Confidential [14] and several television movies such as Love Test (2011) and Dark Secrets (2012). Kelly Deshawn McCarty (born August 24, 1975) is a naturalized Russian [1] [2] [3] former professional basketball player, originally from the United States . He represented the senior men's Russian national basketball team internationally. At 2.01 m (6'7") 235 lbs., he played at both the shooting guard and small forward positions. His primary position was small forward.

Born in Chicago , McCarty played high school basketball at Quitman High School, in Quitman, Mississippi .

McCarty played college basketball at the University of Southern Mississippi , with the Southern Miss Golden Eagles , leading the college team in scoring and rebounding during his senior year, in 1997–98.

After playing in just 2 regular season games for the Denver Nuggets of the NBA in 1999, McCarty went on to play in Israel, spending 5 seasons there - at first with Maccabi Raanana . He then signed with the Israeli Premier League club Hapoel Jerusalem , and with them he won the ULEB Cup (now called EuroCup ) in the 2003–04 season, being voted the EuroCup Finals MVP .

The next year, in the 2004–05 season, he moved to the Russian Super League A club Dynamo Saint Petersburg , and without losing a single game in the FIBA Europe League competition, his team won the championship, and he was elected the Final Four MVP of that tournament . He spent the last years of his career playing in Russia.
