Keira Knightley poses topless in a beautiful new photo spread for Interview.
Fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier captured the 29-year-old for the magazine's September issue, themed The Photographer's issue. Knightley graces one of its six covers, each shot by a different photographer or pair of photographers.
Also featured on the other five covers are Nicole Kidman (shot by Steven Klein), Naomi Campbell (Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott), Amber Valletta (Craig McDean), Lea Seydoux (Peter Lindbergh) and Daria Werbowy (Mikael Jansson).

Actress Keira Knightley agreed to pose topless for an Interview magazine feature on one condition: She didn't want her body modified with Photoshop.

After her unedited shoot with fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier hit newsstands, Knightley explained to the Times ,

I've had my body manipulated so many different times for so many different reasons, whether it's paparazzi photographers or for film posters. That [shoot] was one of the ones where I said: 'OK, I'm fine doing the topless shot so long as you don't make them any bigger or retouch.' Because it does feel important to say it really doesn't matter what shape you are.

I think women's bodies are a battleground and photography is partly to blame.

Knightley's stance on photographic nudity may come, at least in part, from having been burned before.

"They always pencil in my boobs," she told Allure in 2012 . "I was only angry when they were really droopy... For King Arthur, for a poster, they gave me these really strange droopy tits. I thought, well if you're going to make me fantasy breasts, at least make perky breasts."

Hence Knightley's new rule: No more fantasy breasts. Her policy regarding the real ones is slightly different, though:

"I don't mind exposing my tits [on screen] because they're so small — people really aren't that interested," she said in that same Allure interview.

But people are definitely interested. Her Interview shoot is all over Twitter and Facebook, and Interview 's site seems to be bogged down from all the attention.

On the other hand, Knightley's anti-Photoshop stance may be driving more traffic than her naked breasts alone. The topless image has been online since August , but it only became a phenomenon this week.

Keira Knightley is looking back at one of her most memorable sex scenes to film.

Knightley, 33, opened up about her memorable love scene with James McAvoy in the 2007 film Atonement .

“The best sex scene I’ve done onscreen is the one in Atonement , on the bookshelf,” the actress told Vulture . “It was both the best sex scene, but also [the best] to shoot.”

In the past, several actors and actresses have pointed out how different sex scenes in films are from real life — noting at times how uncomfortable filming them can be — but Knightley said Atonement director Joe Wright made the process easy.

“[He] choreographed the scene within an inch of its life,” Knightley said. “It was absolutely, ‘Foot goes up there, hand goes up there.’ So both me and James felt utterly comfortable and not exposed, and like we could deal with it.”

She added, “It’s never gonna be fun, but we could deal with it.”

Wright’s approach to directing the scene influenced how Knightley approached her sex scenes with Alexander Skarsgård for their latest film The Aftermath , directed by James Kent.

“What never helps is when a director goes, ‘Oh, you guys know what you’re doing,’ and you’re like, ‘Uh, I’ve never met this person, I have no idea what I’m doing in this room full of men,” she told Vulture.

She explained, “With sex scenes, in particular, it always has to be choreographed like a dance. So with James, I was like, ‘You’re the director, you know what you want from this, so you have to just tell us. And everyone will feel comfortable.'”

In The Aftermath , Knightley portrays the wife of a British WWII colonel who begins an affair with a German man (Skarsgård) after she and her family move into his home to rebuild the city of Hamburg, Germany.

They may be primmer than a lot of A-list actresses but Keira Knightley and Nicole Kidman are like you’ve never seen them before in a new photo shoot.
The two stars strip off to pose for some racy pictures that appear in the latest issue of Interview magazine .
Keira goes topless for her artistic black and white shoot with Patrick Demarchelier, in which she sports nothing but lace opera gloves and black trousers, along with wet hair.

You can always rely on Interview Magazine for the most beautiful photo shoots and the September issue doesn't disappoint.
Check out Keira Knightley who leaves behind her English Rose reputation and embraces a whole new raunchier version of herself. While we're sure this shot of Keira will be gazed at thanks to the fact she's topless, as ever it's more about the clothes for us.

Meanwhile, Nicole can be seen posing in sexy cream satin lingerie, complete with stockings and suspenders.
The 47-year-old looks incredible in the purple lit photos as she lies on the dirty ground in the expensive underwear and a pair of high heels, with a man on top of her in one.

Naomi Campbell also took part in a shoot for the magazine, going topless on a tennis court while clad in black knickers, gold heels and with a leopard print coat over her shoulders.
The supermodel then poses beside a swimming pool with a car sinking in it, in a long black dress with a thigh-high split up one side.
As well as their separate photo shoots, the stars appear on alternative covers of the magazine.
While Keira was shot by Patrick, Nicole was captured by Stephen Klein and Naomi by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

Interview's September issue has been dubbed 'The Photographer's Issue', and the magazine asked six photographers to capture on film their 'ideal woman.'
The photographers chose a fair mix of film stars and supermodels that also included Lea Sydoux, Amber Valletta and Daria Werbowy.
