The Playboy Playmate Ryan Lochte plans to tie the knot with has revealed that when she posed for the legendary magazine, she was the victim of a botched breast augmentation.
Kayla Rae Reid, 25, appeared in the magazine three months before it announced the nude photos would be cut from each issue.
Though it's been more than a year since Reid appeared as the Miss July 2015 for the magazine, she admitted that she was unhappy with the size of her breasts after undergoing her first breast augmentation surgery.
'The one thing I wasn't proud of was that I had a bad boob job. They were just way too big for my body,' she told the New York Post .
'They were completely Playboy, rock-hard (breasts). I wanted small, kind of saggy, pretty (breasts).'

Reid, who is engaged to Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte (pictured above together in October), went to have the problem fixed with her doctor and said she 'wanted small, kind of saggy, pretty (breasts)'
In order to fix the problem, Reid, who is originally from Virginia, consulted with her doctor who agreed that they were not correct.
The playmate's doctor corrected her breasts for free, and a week later she matched with the Olympic swimmer on popular dating-app Tinder.
Lochte and Reid decided to meet in person for the first time at Hollywood hot-spot Bootsy Bellows.
Reid shared that their January meeting at the nightclub which is co-owned by David Arquette, was just like a romantic comedy.
'We physically ran into each other. We grabbed each other's hands and were looking into each other's eyes. We clicked,' she told the Post.
'I had always heard he was a player and a partyer. I always said I would never date an athlete.
'When I met him, he was the complete opposite of everything I thought he was.'
The pair's instant connection launched their relationship into full bloom. So much so that Reid decided to pack up her apartment in Los Angeles and move close to be with Lochte in Charlotte, North Carolina in early April.

At the time, he was training at the facility to prepare for the Olympics.
As her then-boyfriend competed in Rio, Reid was also on hand to support him.
'I was in Rio the whole time,' Reid told the newspaper.
'We didn't want people to know I was there, and I didn't want to be a distraction.'
However, Lochte claimed during several interviews in Brazil that they were not a couple and that he was single.
Reid and Lochte agreed to pretend that they were not in a relationship during the competition, as it was 'fresh' and she felt like 'nobody needs to know.'
During the Olympics, Lochte told NBC that he and a group of U.S. swimmers were robbed at gunpoint on August 14 in Rio. But it was soon revealed that he lied and the group were accused of vandalism and public urination.
Not long after, Lochte was the center of the media's attention for lying about the incident.

Reid explained that she at first did not know all of the details because she was not able to speak with Lochte.
But surprisingly, she was not upset or angry when she found out he lied about the ordeal.
'I was just concerned . . . I wanted to be by his side,' she stated.
'We've all peed in bushes. We all can say, 'I made a mistake while intoxicated.
'I've tried to remind him, 'You don't get to live like a normal person.
'Every mistake you make . . . you live under a microscope.' But it's done now and it's something he has to overcome.'
The support Reid offered Lochte during the scandal and the public backlash that followed seemingly helped him to know that she was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with and marry.
'Normally a married couple would go through what we went through over 20 years, but we've done it in (less than) a year,' Lochte, 32, has said, according to the Post. 'That's when I knew, I'm not letting this one go.'
Lochte, who was recently eliminated from ABC's 'Dancing With the Stars', rented a helicopter in Los Angeles and proposed to Reid in October.
Fast-forward 10 months and the couple is now engaged and excited to plan the rest of their lives together
'I never pictured myself married to anyone,' she said. 'I just never imagined that.'
But for her, Lochte quickly changed her opinion, as they had only been dating for roughly 10 months.
'He's so romantic. He leaves me love letters all around the house. He is a softie. He's sensitive and thoughtful,' Reid shared.
Reid added that she was 'deeply moved' by his desire to be a father.
'He wants kids so badly. That is what made us connect,' she said. 'He said his one goal in life was to be a great dad.'
The blonde beauty, who grew up in a conservative Republican family, still plans on modeling once they are married.
She dreams of landing a spot in the iconic Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
'I've worked so hard on my own, not getting a penny from my family,' she said. 'I don't want my hard work to be forgotten.'
Before jumping in the spotlight, Reid, who is a former high-school cheerleader, attended a few colleges and worked as a restaurant server before moving to Los Angeles.
Prior to becoming a Playmate, Reid said that she was 'always kind of chubby' and that she 'never watched' what she ate.
Reid started exercising and lost 20 lbs after a bad breakup, and soon enough she started being hired for modeling positions and working for brands like Monster Energy.
Playboy called the model two years ago with an offer to be a centerfold for July 2015.
At first, Reid explained she was apprehensive due to her conservative family.
'I was like, 'I don't think so,' Reid told the Post. 'My family is very Republican, traditional and Southern.
'I sat the whole family down and I was like, 'So I got an offer to be a Playmate centerfold.' My grandmother was like, 'You have to do it. We just won't tell the family in Alabama, you know what I mean?'
Since then, her career has taken off and now the couple is busy planning their wedding and looking for homes in the Los Angeles area.

And on Thursday, Kayla Lochte shared a candid post of her topless form to proudly showcase her scars from her explant surgery.
The 30-year-old model, who is the wife of Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte , reflected on her decision to move forward with the removal and applaud women who have decided to do the same, putting their 'health before their image.'

The mother of two had a towel around her waist with her hands covering her chest - showcasing her explant surgery scars beneath.
Kayla wrote that 'there isn't a pretty way to take a photo of scars but there is a beautiful message for them being there.'
Adding: 'There is much more awareness and talk regarding explant surgery and I am so happy so many women are deciding to put their health before their image. It is not easy.'
The former Playboy model continued: 'I am/have been peeling back years of the "critique layers", fixated on an image of perfection created by myself, agents, agencies, society, generational curses etc. I have been trying to discover who is at the inner core of my being before being told who and what I needed to be to succeed.'

Kayla said: 'Which I accomplished a lot in doing so...(I also believe in timing and seasons so I wouldn't change the past because who knows if I would be the same person I am today).'
She noted that if she could go back in time, she would tell 'my curvy blonde 20 year old self who quit her corporate job to pursue her dreams in the modeling industry, I would tell her that it's okay to embrace what God has given you.'
While 'it's also okay to work on yourself while learning to love your insecurities. We can still have insecurities while working on them,' she added.
'You will never obtain perfection. God created us imperfect for a reason. Your health will always be valuable and priceless. Finding a healthy balance in between the extremes, embracing our natural beauty while nourishing our health is where it's at.'
'I know our idea of beauty is always evolving but it's really encouraging to see a lot of women loving themselves in their own skin and honoring their health. I may be rambling on but I am unpacking a lot in my brain.'
Kayla spoke out about her breast implant removal surgery in March, speaking out on the symptoms she had prior to the removal.
She revealed she had fatigue, joint pain, suicidal thoughts, and low libido, which led to her decision to have them taken out.
She wrote on her Instagram: '2020 was a scary year for my health and mental wellness which I pray to never relive again,' the former Playboy model wrote. 'I tend to be open about my struggles [and] I kept a smile on as much as I could but I felt a lot of shame and embarrassment to have so much to be thankful for — yet I was drowning.'
Four months ago: Kayla spoke out about her breast implant removal surgery in March, speaking out on the symptoms she had prior to the removal
'I was afraid of myself, my thoughts and didn’t know how I could continue to live feeling the way that I was,' she continued. 'BUT I PROMISE YOU There is hope — do not give up. There are valleys and there are mountaintops and I am currently on the climb.'
Kayla said that her range of symptoms included bladder issues, swollen lymph nodes, anxiety and difficulty concentrating.
Kayla explained on her social media that her doctor believed the implants were leaking inside her.
She said that following the surgery, her lymph node in her neck is no longer swollen, she doesn't have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and her bags under her eyes have disappeared.
Kayla shared before and after pictures of her face, showing that her skin tone changed drastically and the dark circles were gone.
