Lupus is a long-term condition that causes joint pain, skin rashes and tiredness. Katherine Ryan shared a very cheeky post to Instagram on Sunday, which saw her flash her toned bottom while sharing a kiss with her partner Bobby Kootstra.
The comedian and her childhood sweetheart, both 38, engaged in a romantic smooch while each donning a matching pair of cutout plaid pyjama bottoms.
Overlooking a swanky swimming pool, the couple appeared to be enamoured with one another while exhibiting their toned derrieres.

It comes after Katherine detailed her tough journey with Lupus and has credited the disease for making her 'focus on the things that matter.'
The TV personality, has described the moment that she first began to experience symptoms of the condition back in 2007 and her struggle for a diagnosis.
The Canadian had just moved to London when she first began to suffer with sore joints, fatigue and rashes.

In an interview with The Mirror she explained: 'I had really low white blood cells, but no one seemed particularly alarmed about that. There was a lot of frustration with doctors who didn’t know what was wrong and didn’t investigate. I felt quite fobbed off.'
Following various appointments with an array of specialists, she added that she was told she could have 'ringworm' whilst another took a guess with 'leprosy.'
Desperately Katherine visited A&E, where a nurse there first suggested that she might have Lupus.
'Better than ever': The actress believed that stress was a contributing factor to the cause of her lupus and has since successfully managed her condition by focussing on de-stressing
After almost a year of trying to get a professional diagnosis she was finally told by a dermatologist that she had systemic lupus erythematosus.
Whilst there is no cure for the long-term condition, it can be treated and controlled with medication to prevent it from getting worse and lessen flare-ups.
After her diagnosis Katherine detailed: 'I realised life’s not fair and I had to take responsibility for my own health. Everyone’s different, but for me it was either I calm down or I get a fever, so the reward was high. I didn’t do yoga or mindfulness techniques – I went for a lot of walks.

'I became really Zen and focused on the things that matter. I just didn’t sweat the small stuff any more.'
The actress believed that stress was a contributing factor to the cause of her lupus and has since successfully managed her condition by focussing on de-stressing.
After suffering a series of tragic miscarriages Katherine began taking medication again in 2020, but admitted that she was 'just guessing' that it was an autoimmune response.
She now sharess, son, Fred, six months, with her partner Bobby and a daughter, Violet, 12, from her previous relationship as she said that she feels 'better than ever.'

COMEDIAN Katherine Ryan has told of the toe-curling moment she nearly fled the set of her Netflix series as she prepared for a sex scene.
The star, who has written and stars in semi-biographical The Duchess, told of the one hugely embarrassing plot which made her want to quit the project for good.
Speaking to The Sun Online, the mum-of-one let slip her apprehension over the saucy moment during which she contemplated simply "leaving the building."
Katherine, 37, said: "I stood behind the door and calculated how much money it would cost for me to run away.
"I thought ‘OK how many lighting technicians are here and how much do you think we spent hiring this set’ and I just calculated that it was too much so then I went in the room and did the sex scene.
"Which I wrote but I really struggled to perform in because your intellectual mind is very different to your central nervous system.
"I thought before I did it acting is fun you just pretend but it turns out acting is really hard, especially when acting intimacy.
"I mean, I just didn’t get Botox for a year and I thought that’s all it took to be an actress, like ‘alright I can move my face, that’s what Judi Dench must be doing but that’s it’ and I was wrong, it’s actually really hard and it can be a little bit embarrassing.
"But I just thought they needed to have a sex scene for the viewer to believe that these two were in a relationship and that’s why I wrote it but that is the thing, when you’re naked that’s what separates the actors from the stand ups."
The show has been billed as an authentic extension of Katherine’s stand-up comedian stage persona.
It explores the unique world view of a fashionably disruptive all-round bad person whose redeeming quality is that she’ll sacrifice everything to be the best parent she can be.
The Duchess' hilarious trailer shows Katherine juggling being a single mother with her new boyfriend and school gate politics.
She is also eager to explore the possibilities of having another child, whether that’s with a sperm donor or her messy ex remains to be seen.
Talking of the semi-biographical plot the Canadian told us: "Her name is Katherine Ryan out of pure laziness, I was supposed to change her name but then I just thought ‘Oh well’.
"The character is maybe more like my stage persona than she is like me. Because what is mirrored in my real life is I do have a very special, unique central mother-daughter relationship and it has always been prioritised above any other relationship in my life.
"I know that ‘Katherine’ has a unique world view and a real logical way of solving problems which creates more problems for her but she never disparages being a mom and that’s the same with me, I celebrate my relationship with my daughter.
"I’ve had other challenges in my life but parenting was never one of them."

Comedian Katherine Ryan has sent pulses racing with a busty display for social media after posing in a low-cut gold dress as she films her latest TV show.
The Canadian star, 37, was glowing with confidence in the close-up selfie snap which she posted to Instagram before a trip to Torquay in Devon, where she's filming her new ITV dating show Ready To Mingle.
Preaching self-love to her 717k online followers, she penned: "It's another gorgeous day of being stunning for me".
And the panel-show beauty is absolutely right as she was looking incredible in her plunging gold dress which is sure to break the temperature gauges.
The presenter's shiny top is hanging low beneath her neckline, revealing her cleavage in a heatwave display.
Striking a pose for her show-time selfie, Katherine can be seen looking into the distance wearing her a classy pair of gold pendant earrings to match her gold dress.
The blonde bombshell also had her luscious hair tied up with curled bangs flowing down her face.
After taking to Instagram to post the photo, Katherine treated her followers to a sneak peak into her seaside trip to Devon, where she is currently filming for her new dating show, Ready To Mingle.
Katherine and her husband Bobby Kootstra enjoyed chatting to their Instagram fans as they drove along the British seaside.
The couple began dating in their teens and reunited after twenty years before they became civil partners in 2019.
Mother-of-one Katherine has a young daughter called Violet from her past relationship.
Katherine announced last week that Netflix have decided against renewing her sitcom The Duches. - which tells the story of a single mother living in London who decided to pursue a relationship with her enemy.
Chatting on Vicky Pattison's The Secret To... podcast, Katherine said: "Netflix didn't want to make any more, not enough people watched it.
"I think something like 10 million people watched it in 28 days and that wasn't enough. But also, I'm not terribly sad about it.
"I feel like it's a whole lot of work, a whole lot of time to make a sitcom. I was so grateful to able to make it, but I think it speaks for itself. I kind of like the way it ended."
In a previous interview, Katherine spoke about how her Duchess character is similar to her real-life personality, saying: "Her name is Katherine Ryan out of pure laziness because I always meant to change her name and then I just thought, "Oh well".
"The character is maybe more like my stage persona than she is like me, because in my real life, what is mirrored is that I do have a very special unique central mother-daughter relationship and it has always been prioritised above any other relationship in my life.

Her upcoming ITV dating show, Ready To Mingle, will follow the journey of a single woman searching for her ideal partner among 12 men who will compete to impress her as well as getting the chance to win a big cash prize.
