Alleged nude photos of Kate Upton and boyfriend Justin Verlander were leaked online Sunday as part of a massive celebrity photo leak.
The alleged nude photos show the Detroit Tigers ace and supermodel girlfriend naked in a bathroom standing side-by-side in profile with the mirror. Upton, who has twice appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit edition, is seen holding up a cell phone which she used to snap the pictures. Verlander’s bare bottom is visible in both photos, while Upton’s is visible in one and covered by Verlander’s hands in the other.
Upton and Verlander first met while shooting a commercial for MLB 2K12 in 2012 and began dating soon thereafter . The two refused to confirm their relationship in 2012, and it seems like they broke up at some point later in the year or in early 2013. But the two got back together and began making numerous public appearances together at the beginning of the year. Upton has also gone to watch many of Verlander’s games this season.
Neither Upton nor Verlander have addressed the nude photos. Upton did not tweet at all on Sunday, while Verlander has not tweeted since last week. Upton stated in a recent interview that she would not get naked because of the negative backlash from blogs and social media.
Numerous celebrities have been victims of the massive leak, with some confirming the authenticity of the photos and others saying they are fake.
According to BuzzFeed, the photos appear to have originated on a 4chan forum where they were posted by an anonymous user. The user claimed to have obtained the photos through an iCloud leak and was offering to sell them for bitcoins. A master list posted by the anonymous user indicated they had photos and/or videos of around 60 celebrities.
The most prominent target of the leak was Oscar Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence, who had several nude photos hit the web. Her representatives confirmed the authenticity of the photos and threatened to prosecute anyone who posted or spread the photos.
Other celebrities allegedly victimized by the leak include Kirsten Dunst, Teresa Palmer, Becca Tobin, Jessica Brown Findlay, Krysten Ritter, Lea Michele, Ariana Grande, Brie Larson, Ali Michael, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Victoria Justice. Athletes McKayla Maroney and Hope Solo were also alleged victims of the leak .

Winstead confirmed the authenticity of the photos while lashing out at the hacker and those who viewed her photos:

Tough break, people of the internet: It's your fault that Kate Upton hasn't posed nude. The buxom Sports Illustrated model, 22, recently blamed the web for her hesitation to go fully naked for the cameras.
"For me those photos are art," Upton said in an interview with Details . "Your body is art, your body is beautiful, and to be photographed in that way is amazing and it's received in a very positive way."
"But with social media and the internet and not-so-great blogs and the attention like that, I don't think that my pictures would be received in the way that I'd want them to be received," she continued. "That's why I've stayed away from them. I really appreciate those photos and I think those women are beautiful, but I think social media and the Internet has prevented me from putting myself out there like that."
While she may be weary of social media, Upton is still active on Twitter and Instagram . She regularly shares (clothed) personal photos and shots of her modeling gigs via Instagram, and sends messages to her baseball player boyfriend Justin Verlander via Twitter.
Instead of taking it all off, Upton has been expanding her range as of late, hitting the big screen with Leslie Mann , Cameron Diaz , and Nicki Minaj in The Other Woman , and going high-fashion for the September cover of ELLE UK .
"My career is moving at such a rapid pace," she added to Details. "I want to hit all the top things. I want Italian Vogue with Steven Meisel , but I can't do all of the other things because I also want to shoot a movie. You think you can do it all. I'm traveling everywhere and I'm trying to do everything and I can't. But I feel like the fashion world has welcomed me and nobody is scared of me."

American model Kate Upton has posed topless in her bed and taken a gorgeous selfie before posting it up on Instagram for the world to see.
With tousled hair, sultry bedroom eyes and more than a hint of her ample cleavage Kate Upton has taken the ultimate sexy selfie.
"In bed with @mertalas and @macpiggott #nofilter," the Sports Illustrated model wrote alongside the stunning photo which shows her naked and wrapped in nothing but a white sheet.
But the sizzling 22-year-old star did show some humility by adding hashtag, "Because I'm in amazing light" along with her caption.
In fact, it appears the picture isn't one of Kate as she just happens to wake up in the morning.
As she has tagged fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in the caption it would appear the pretty picture is part of a photoshoot.
