It's officially summertime, which means it's the season of eating outdoors, lounging in the sun, and walking around your house wearing next to nothing because it's just So. Hot.
And it seems we're not alone on the latter, as none other than Kate Hudson has just gone and posted a *totally* topless photo on Instagram - and the whole set up is v relatable.
Of course, Kate isn't the first celeb to pose naked on the 'gram , with the likes of the Kardashians , Dua Lipa and Nicole Scherzinger proving to be big fans in recent weeks. And it looks like Kate is firmly joining in on the trend.
The new post in question sees Kate enjoying what looks to be a v cosy morning setup, posing topless while sipping a cup of coffee. Aanndd, yep, we're very jealous of all that blue sky.
As for the rest of the pic, we can see Kate chilling makeup free and perfecting the mermaid-esque hair bra in the process. Goals tbh.
The actress captioned the photo, "🌞’s out ☕️☕️☕️," and never has the "sun's out..." rhyme been so true. Take a look at the full post here:
As expected, Kate's famous pals were v big fans of the shot, with Paris Hilton commenting, "😍," while Michelle Pfeiffer added, "❤️".
Meanwhile, it looks like we could be about to see another celeb joining in on the nude photo trend, with singer Janelle Monae commenting, "I must recreate this 😍😍😍😍 Icon."
Iconic indeed. Brb, just growing our hair long enough to actually achieve this at home.

Kate Hudson is basking in a sunny morning, no shirt required.
The Truth Be Told star, 43, took to Instagram on Saturday to share a photo of herself sporting black underwear — and nothing else — while she sipped her morning coffee. Her long blond hair covered her chest. She captioned the photo, “[Sun’s] out.”
The mom of three received a heart-eyed emoji from Paris Hilton and a heart from Michelle Pfeiffer in her comments section, as well as plenty of other approving messages from her followers. One fan wrote, “If I looked like this, I would literally go anywhere and everywhere wearing this and only this.”
One person who didn’t love the look was Hudson’s brother Oliver, who is her co-host on the podcast Sibling Revelry . He joked in the comments section, “Nope.”
The Fabletics founder often uses social media to share behind-the-scenes moments of her life, which include her workouts, family time and vacations. In a November 2021 interview with Yahoo Life , Hudson opened up about what self care means to her — and often, it means just taking a few quiet moments for herself.
“For women, we need to tune in for ourselves,” she shared. “Self-care may be sitting at a wall for three minutes by ourselves. For women, especially — and I can only speak to women because I am a woman — we manage so much. We manage not only the practical side of things, but the emotional side of things, as well. It doesn’t mean there aren’t men who do the same things, but for women, it’s ingrained in us. We have to manage the emotional needs, often while also having careers and being the breadwinner. We have to be everything to everyone.”
The Almost Famous star noted that often, she has to "tune in" to what she needs because it's "different every time."
"I try to listen to myself, because I think every woman understands when they’ve had it and are at the end of their rope," she continued. "When that moment happens, it’s usually because we’re not doing things for ourselves. That happened to me last night, and I went to dinner with my friends. I had a crying toddler who was like, “Mommy don’t go,” and it was terrible and hard, but I had to do that. And you know what? It filled my soul. You just have to tune in what you need in the moment.”

Kate Hudson is baring it all in London…well, almost!
In a photo posted to her Instagram on Saturday, the Bride Wars actress can be seen topless while sitting on the floor in front of a bay window as she sipped her morning brew.
"🌞's out ☕️☕️☕️," she wrote in the caption.
The image shows Hudson, 43, wearing black underwear while only her long blonde tresses cover part of her chest.
Hudson looked cozy hanging out in the sun-drenched room as she held her phone in one hand and sipped a warm drink with the other.
Followers and famous friends, including her brother Oliver Hudson , flocked to the comments section to express their opinions on the image.
Gaining thousands of "likes" with his sense of humor, Oliver, 45, simply wrote, "Nope.."
Meanwhile, Selma Blair commented, " That's a lovely morning! 💛." Janelle Monae said, "I must recreate this 😍😍😍😍 Icon."

Oliver and Kate are the children of former couple Bill Hudson and Goldie Hawn , who were married from 1976 to 1982.
The siblings share a close bond and often display their interactions on social media platforms.
Last November, Oliver opened up to PEOPLE about sharing photos and videos of himself in the nude on Instagram, crediting the family environment he was raised in for why he's so comfortable in his own skin today.
"It comes from growing up in a very open family, honestly," he said at the time. "Nudity has never been taboo. We were all born naked and it's the way it is."
"Even now with my kids, we're just naked people. That's just the way it is," he added. "I'm definitely comfortable with it."

In September, Hudson posted a funny video of himself running away in the snow while in the nude. The video, he said, was initially taken down by Instagram, but that didn't deter the actor and Sibling Revelry podcast host from posting it again.
"I had my son filming it. The behind-the-scenes of that Instagram post is amazing because I'm upset with him because he's not getting it right," he shared. "It's really funny. Instagram took it down and I'm like, 'What is going on?' And I decided to just look up what Instagram is, and what it does and the amount of photos that are on Instagram that are far more salacious than what I put out, are up. But then I re-posted it. I re-posted it because I was, 'Come on you guys, what, really?' And so we'll see what happens."
