During a press conference on Thursday, Major-General Abdul Jalil Medhi, Director of the unit, said the first suspect has a criminal record and was deported from the UAE eight years ago. Providing details of the operation, Major Khalid Mwaiza, Director of the Central Information Department, said that on receiving information that heroin was being sold, the police set a trap and arrested the first suspect who worked in the hotel, and his partner who lived in Abu Dhabi. The police found 10 capsules containing heroin and some cash in the pocket of the first suspect. The police seized 86 capsules of heroin from the house of the second suspect.
