What kinds of activities do you include in your online Japanese classes?
This lesson is focused on Japanese conversation. I choose one or two grammar points from the intermediate grammar list, and practice them in a natural conversation. We use the target grammar phrases repeatedly in different Japanese conversations, so that by the end of the lesson, you can use them with confidence.
Presently no classes offered.
Hajimemashite. My name is Shizuka Seyama.
My name is slightly rare since it has both Hiragana and Kanji in it. Because it is read as 'shizuka', people tend to know me as ' the teacher with the same name as Shizuka chan' – (a character in the popular cartoon Doraemon), or because 'shizuka' also means quiet in Japanese, people tend to know me as 'the lively teacher even though her name means quiet'.
Beginner 2 Japanese lessons The aim of the Beginner 2 level is to use basic Japanese grammatical structures to easily express what you want to say. After taking these online lessons, you'll surprise yourself and find yourself saying, "Wow! I can use this Japanese expression!” Each lesson deals with a single grammatical structure in Japanese.
Seno sensei is currently on Sabbatical leave.
We practice how to say some simple grammar structures in Japanese, and Japanese vocabulary concerning the names of jobs, places and things. Once you get used to saying these, you can move on and start talking about yourself in Japanese. Even if it's your first time studying Japanese, I try to make it an easy, enjoyable experience. If you already know a little Japanese, this is also a great place for you to review and get your tongue around the Japanese language again.
