However, the mast taper/shape seems to remain the same (my most recent 2017 mast has an identical "drop shape" taper as my older 2012 mast). Useful to know if you're looking at 2nd-hand masts and specifically avoiding Drop.Shape masts! Interestingly Unifiber seem to claim a similar tapered shape for their masts.

The different masts HI, I recently bought two Duetone E_Pace sails (2020,2021) with no campers. How much does a good mast impact my sailing experience with these sails? I mainly use a starboard Isonic 117L and 127L Starboard Isonic.

The 2019 mast is too wide for the gong fuselage by about 1mm - I haven't tried the naish 2019 mast in a 2018 plate or fuselage but - the gong into naish was always wobbly and the 2018 mast was pretty much a friction fit - so Naish have probably upped their game a bit on fit. Even so I think the abracadabra is a bit slack.
