Does anyone still play Kamihime Project?
I tried the browser version and liked what I saw, but the game just keeps getting stuck over and over again. Then I decided to try the app version on my phone. Nutaku is a reputable company, but the app wanted storage permissions and phone call permissions. I've been given to understand that apps sometimes ask for the permission to make phone calls because that permission allows apps to uniquely identify your phone, but it still seem shady.
The Nutaku app isn't a trojan if that's all you're worried about.
The only app detected as a virus by my phone's security is EroGames, an alternative to Nutaku. Not to get confused with EroLabs, another alternate to Nutaku , which has TenkufuMA!, Cum & Gun (Boobs in the City in EroGames version), Lusty Odyssey (Craving Quest in Erogames).
That game slow loading time kill it for me. Even with the app version it took like 2-3 minutes just to go in and out of menu. The app is just a browser that connect to the game anyway, kinda like granblue.
If you play it for the H scene there is a program that collect them all and play it offline on the forum(not sure if updated regularly). Kamihime player offline? Forgot its name.
I'm still salty that Millennium War Aigis got shutdown. That game was so good.
I've played the game a lot over the past two years and it was my main game for over a year with a lot of time spent grinding.
It was by far the most grindiest game I've played and if you're looking to go f2p you're gonna have a "fun" time doing hundreds upon hundreds of raids to simply aquire 1 of 8 or so currently released s tier party leader characters (and this is after you've grinded a few other hundred raids to get a decent amount of A-tier party leaders and also a few hundred raids to get a decent late game weapons grid).
Take into account that kamihime on nutaku is also a little over a year behind the current jp kamihime on dmm. For me it kind of killed the fun vibes of getting surprises of possible events because you already know what needs to be grinded a year in advance. Also the current version on nutaku suffers from lack of updates in QOL in terms of UI, crafting, character art, and loading speeds. I've seen my former union members play the jp version and it looks muuuch more polished.
For some reason devs seem a lot more stingy to the global version and we get less compensation for hiccups compared to the jp version as well and you can see it constantly being brought up in the Discord.
The reason I quit was simply because I got bored and the late game content is atrocious to grind, I ended up needing to take 2-3 hours just to do my daily stuff and I would do that via scripts because it was so time consuming otherwise.
Out of all the games on Nutaku however, it is one of the top 3 on the platform but that's because it has a lot of content and it's JP made.It is honestly frustrating to watch Nutaku be cheapskates and produce their own games by hiring studios to produce the most ugly browser games I've seen and pump them with micro transactions rather than working with good devs that can create good JP H-games by actually paying to aquire publishing rights.
Overall, I would only recommend playing it if you want to play super casual and you want to put in enough time to get event characters. I've regret spending money and time on that game altogether.
P.s. we don't talk about the mobile app because that's a whole other vile creature of it's own.
If you aint playing it for the H-stuff, you are better off playing Granblue tbh.
Kamihime is pretty much a copy of Granblue plus the Nutaku prices for draws are outragious like in all of their hosted games.
Tenkafuma is a great H game imo, if nutaku did a tenkafuma once every year instead of pumping out 10 shitty games a month things would be better.
Yep, I quit Nutaku when I saw more Western based shit art games get promoted, while potentially good JP ones got removed entirely. However, I recently logged back in so I could fap to a Kamihime scene that always stuck with me.
I found the game not bad overall, but I don't really want to start over on DMM, especially since I heard I need a VPN to play on there (I live in the US).
Try tenkafuma instead if you want h gacha game.

Yeah I never touched the phone version of that game for the same reason. A shame, since it seemed decent.
play the english version on dmm looks way better and loads really quick nutaku looks like shit compared to the dmm
It's very odd that people worry about permissions when the point is to be asked in a transparent way. But permissions are needed for features to fully work in an app. Like for storage it should be obvious, it would need permission to save to cache, quick logins, settings and other things need to be able to access itself on the device storage to work. From optional maps on PUBG and saved controller or button layouts. It's completely normal. Making calls permissions is needed for mobile connectivity, it identifies your device and network connection. This is more of a security check, and this is how devices get identified as a trusted device and how logging in from a different device can be detected, and if you are a cheater and such games have ban systems in place this is how they identify and ban you and a specific device. There are many other purposes depending on the app that these permissions are necessary for.
if you are serious in this game, play the JP ver; there are communities of it such as mine here..
So then, is Kamihime Project R a separate game from Kamihime Project? I need someone to explain it to me.
