We have seen it happen before and its nothing that will go away as long as ppl have a creative mind. I think they probably want to wait until everything is running smoothly so that when they release it, it just works. Frustrating as hell for those of us that have the gear capable of running this but fully understandable. Personally I have some capable hardware I can put to use but also have access to datacenter resources I could host on. This could also be good for having a hosted server running potential mods in the future. They have not worked on anything that their community has suggested. Their devs are something special. How is that true? And why can you see them not wanting to let 'normal' players host servers. Do you have to be some special premium boy or something? Unless you mean they want to follow EA and sell DLC only while also getting some cut from server providers. Also I myself know it does take time. I just have hopes. With companies like ea around, we can use hope. Also another thing with this 'normal players hosting servers' crap. People setting up dedicated servers with good power might just be better than cheap small AWS instances Also it will take their cost down not having to run so much of em. Maybe they could do some application for hosting haha where they filter out the ones trying to host on a P4 computer while not knowing anything about running a server? Normal players are the best. It seems like there is a chance that is the case Although this seems to be a bright indication that server files will come eventually? Not trying to sound impatient btw, just hope they come.
