KVITOK — SUPPORT
Kvitok tracks utility bills: meter readings, rates, fixed costs and a ready-to-send receipt for the owner of your flat. The app works offline and
keeps all data on your device. App version: 1.0.0 Updated: August 29, 2026 HOW TO REACH US Email: futurist.network@icloud.com We reply within 2–3 business days. To speed things up, please include: — your device model and iOS version (Settings → General → About); — the app version (see above, also in the About section); — what you did and what went wrong; — a screenshot, if the problem is visible. Please do not send us your backup file unless we ask: it contains your readings, addresses and meter photos. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 1. How do I move my data to a new phone? Through a backup. On the old device: Settings → DATA → "Export — full backup (JSON)". Save the file to Files, iCloud Drive, or send it to yourself. On the new device: Settings → DATA → "Import from a backup" → pick the file → "Replace all". The backup holds every place, month and meter photo. 2. I raised a rate and past months did not change. Is that a bug? No, it is by design. A submitted bill is an archive: a new rate or a new fixed amount applies from the current month and never rewrites what has already been counted and sent to the owner. To fix an earlier month, open it with the arrows in the header and edit the value there — the change stays inside that month. 3. Why did my fixed cost not carry over to the next month? A fixed cost belongs to exactly the month you created it in and never moves — neither forward nor back. That way an internet bill never shows up in months when it was not charged. In a new month add it again: "+ Add" next to the "Fixed expenses" heading, where you will find ready-made options — internet, intercom, waste collection. 4. How do I set up a two-rate (day/night) meter? On the home screen tap "Edit" next to the "Meters" heading and switch on "Make it dual-tariff (day/night)" in the meter's card. Two zones appear, each with its own rate; the "+ Zone" button adds a third one if you need it. Readings are entered per zone and the meter's usage is their sum. 5. My reading is entered but nothing is calculated. Two cases cause that. First: it is the very first month and there is no previous reading to measure from — enter it manually, otherwise the whole meter value would count as usage. Second: the current reading is lower than the previous one — the app does not count such a month and highlights the row so you can check the numbers. 6. Where are my data and photos stored? In the app's protected folder on your device. Neither data nor photos are sent anywhere: the app has no servers, no accounts and no analytics. Details are in the privacy policy: ‹privacy policy URL› 7. How do I delete my data? Delete a single month in History, a meter or a fixed cost on the home screen, a whole place in that place's settings. Removing the app from your device erases all of its data and photos. 8. The app asks for camera access. Do I have to allow it? No. Camera and photo library are used only for an optional meter photo — proof of your readings for the owner. Decline it and everything else keeps working. 9. How do I change currency, language or theme? Settings (the icon in the top-right corner of the home screen): APPEARANCE — light, dark or follow system; LANGUAGE — English, Russian or system; CURRENCY — common symbols plus a "Custom" field for anything else. 10. The readings reminder shows the wrong day. The submission day is set per place: place settings → "Submit readings on". The upcoming date is shown in the header of the home screen.
