KSA Monitors Poker Network Wins Goldwyn Violations

On June 7, the Dutch gambling regulator KSA ordered Winning Poker Network and Malta-based Goldwin Ltd. to periodically pay fines for illegally accepting Dutch customers in online game offerings. They were ordered to stop activities without licenses. In addition, if they do not comply, they will be fined later.

However, the Winning Falker Network has since failed to withdraw the proposal, and thus has to pay the above penalty, in response to which Goldwyn Inc. ceased operations as soon as the order was issued.

KSA's investigation:

On March 1, a suspension order was issued to the Winning Poker Network following a September 2022 investigation by the Dutch Game Authority.

Despite promising to stop offering online gambling to Dutch customers, despite warnings that law enforcement would follow, a follow-up investigation by the KSA revealed that the promise had not been fulfilled. This is because although the original americascardroom.eu website was no longer available to Dutch players, it was easy to create a new account on another website of the same provider, www.truepoker.eu . In addition, it offered a chance to play on the website from the Netherlands. As soon as this was discovered, the KSA issued a periodic payment order of 25,000 euros per week with a fine of up to 75,000 euros, but the sum of the fines is also determined by the size of the illegal provider's offer. However, Winning Poker's illegal offer did not stop at the time this announcement was made, and fines are actually collected from the Winning Poker Network. In this regard, the KSA will continue its investigation following this fine, with the ultimate goal of halting this illegal proposal altogether, which will result in enforcement action again.

GoldWinLTD, on the other hand, gave Duth players the opportunity to gamble online on the westcasino.com website, but they do not have the necessary licenses. Therefore, under the KSA order, they must pay a fine of 239.000 euros of up to 717.000 euros. Further investigations have also found that violations have now stopped, although regular fine orders still remain. When Goldwin LTD decides to offer online games to Dutch players again, and again there will be regular fines.

Commenting on the regular penalty orders, KSA President Renee Jansen said, "It has to compensate the providers of opportunities to legally provide the game. That is only possible if we take the wind out of the illegal supply. We are fully committed to stopping this practice." 바카라사이트
