Coleen NolanColeen Patricia Nolan (born 12 March 1965) is an English singer, television personality and author. She was a member of the pop group The Nolans, in which she sang with her sisters. With over 30 million records sold worldwide, The Nolans are one of the world's biggest selling girl groups. Since 2000, Nolan has been a regular panellist on the ITV talk show Loose Women. From 2001 to 2002, she co-presented the ITV daytime show This Morning, and later returned to the show from 2010 to 2012 as a presenter of the interactive hub segments. In 2009, she competed on the fourth series of the ITV show Dancing on Ice, in which she finished in fourth place. In 2012, Nolan appeared on the tenth series of the Channel 5 reality series Celebrity Big Brother, finishing as runner-up. She returned to Celebrity Big Brother in 2017, winning the nineteenth series.
Kym MarshKimberley Gail Marsh (previously Ryder, Lomas and Ratcliff; born 13 June 1976) is an English actress, television presenter and singer. In 2001, she won a place in the band Hear'Say as a result of appearing on the reality television series Popstars. Hear'Say enjoyed brief success, achieving two UK number one singles and a UK number one album, but Marsh left the band in 2002 to pursue a solo career. She released an album titled Standing Tall in 2003, which peaked at number nine in the UK and spawned two UK top ten singles. From 2006 to 2019, she portrayed Michelle Connor on the ITV soap opera Coronation Street. She won the British Soap Award for Best Newcomer at the 2007 British Soap Awards, as well as winning the Newcomer category at the 2007 National Television Awards and being nominated for Best Female Dramatic Performance at the 2017 British Soap Awards. In 2010, she finished in fourth place on Popstar to Operastar, a reality show featuring well-known pop stars being trained to sing opera. Since October 2020, Marsh has co-fronted the BBC One morning lifestyle programme Morning Live alongside Welsh presenter Gethin Jones. From 2023, Marsh appeared in the revival of the BBC school drama series Waterloo Road.
Kim WoodburnPatricia Mary "Kim" Woodburn (née McKenzie; born 25 March 1942) is an English television personality, writer, and expert cleaner. Known as the "Queen of Clean", she came to prominence by co-presenting the Channel 4 series How Clean Is Your House? (2003–2009) and its Canadian version Kim's Rude Awakenings (2007–2009). Woodburn has gone on to appear on various reality television shows, including I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! (2009) and Celebrity Big Brother (2017).
Aggie MacKenzieAgnes MacKenzie (born 12 October 1955) is a Scottish television personality, professional cleaner and writer. She is known for co-presenting the Channel 4 series How Clean Is Your House? (2003–2009) with Kim Woodburn and the ITV daytime series Storage Hoarders (2012–2013).
Katie PiperKate Elizabeth Sutton (née Piper; born 12 October 1983) is an English writer, activist, television presenter and model from Andover, Hampshire. In March 2008, her ex-boyfriend raped her and stabbed her several times in the arms. Two days later she was attacked with acid by her ex-boyfriend and an accomplice, causing major damage to her face and blindness in one eye. Piper underwent pioneering surgery to restore her face and vision. Both attackers were convicted and given life sentences. In 2018, one of the attackers was released after serving nine years in prison. In 2009, Piper gave up her right to anonymity in order to increase awareness about burn victims. Her experience was documented in the 2009 Channel 4 documentary Katie: My Beautiful Face part of the Cutting Edge series. It has subsequently been sold internationally. Piper later appeared in multiple follow-up series for Channel 4, released a best-selling autobiography, and had a regular column in weekly magazines. She also presents the Channel 4 television series Bodyshockers about members of the public about to undergo body-altering procedures and those who regret procedures they have had. Her main work has been for the Katie Piper Foundation, which she founded to help victims of burns and other disfigurement injuries. On 13 August 2018, she was announced as the first contestant for that year's Strictly Come Dancing. In September 2020, she joined the BBC One programme Songs of Praise as a presenter. In July 2021, she became a panellist on Loose Women.
Big Brother (British TV series) series 12Big Brother 2011, also known as Big Brother 12, was the twelfth series of the British reality television series Big Brother and the first not to be broadcast on Channel 4. It was broadcast on Channel 5 for the first time since the show's transfer from Channel 4. It launched on 9 September 2011 with an hour and a half-long special launch show, the day after the final of Celebrity Big Brother 8. It was hosted by Brian Dowling, the winner of Big Brother 2 and Ultimate Big Brother. This was the first presenter change since the departure of Davina McCall in September 2010. The series ran for 64 days, ending on 11 November 2011 when the winner, Aaron Allard-Morgan, won half of the £100,000 prize fund, with the remainder split between the five finalists. The runner up was Jay McKray. The series differed from the Channel 4 version in having the celebrity edition before the main series, with the latter running in the autumn rather than the traditional summer-long run. The series reverted to its traditional pattern a year later when Big Brother 13 aired in the summer of 2012. In 2018 the series reverted to the 2011 format again with Celebrity Big Brother 22 airing before Big Brother 19. There were 14 original housemates, seven men and seven women all aged between 18 and 30. Much of the series concentrated on the romantic relationships that developed between the housemates during their time in the house. The series was sponsored by skincare brand Freederm and was the first to use online voting via Facebook credits.
Celebrity Big Brother (British TV series) series 19Celebrity Big Brother 19, also known as Celebrity Big Brother: All-Stars vs. New Stars, was the nineteenth series of the British reality television series Celebrity Big Brother, hosted by Emma Willis and narrated by Marcus Bentley. The series launched on 3 January 2017 and concluded after 32 days on 3 February 2017, making it the joint longest celebrity series to date along with Celebrity Big Brother 17. The series was shown on Channel 5 in the United Kingdom and 3e in Ireland. Rylan Clark-Neal continued to present the spin-off show Celebrity Big Brother's Bit on the Side. It was the twelfth celebrity series and eighteenth series of Big Brother overall to air on Channel 5. With eighteen housemates, this series has the most housemates since the show began in 2001. It also marks the only celebrity series to have housemates returning to represent previous series, and is the first to include two sets of late entrants. As well as this, it also included the voluntary exits of Brandon Block and Ray J. On 3 February 2017, the series was won by Coleen Nolan having received 32.65% of the final vote, with Jedward finishing as the runners-up with 29.91% of the final vote. Kim Woodburn was the highest placed "New star" finishing in third place with 14.52% of the final vote.
