JOB DESCRIPTION

Paybis, a leading cryptocurrency exchange company, is currently looking for a Junior QA Engineer to join our team. We are looking for a candidate with experience in manual testing of backend systems, with a particular focus on API testing.

As a Junior QA Engineer at Paybis, you will work closely with our development team to ensure the quality of our platform. You will be responsible for executing test cases, reporting defects, and verifying bug fixes. You will also be responsible for maintaining test documentation and ensuring that our testing processes are efficient and effective. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·    Work with the development team to understand software requirements and ensure that they are testable

·    Develop and maintain test cases and test plans

·    Execute test cases and document results

·    Report defects and track their resolution

·    Verify bug fixes and ensure that they meet acceptance criteria

·    Collaborate with the development team to ensure that issues are addressed in a timely manner

·    Participate in the development of automated tests where appropriate

·    Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies

REQUIREMENTS:

·    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

·    Up to 1 year of experience in manual testing of backend systems, with a focus on API testing

·    Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and processes

·    Experience with bug tracking and test case management tools

·    Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·    Strong attention to detail

·    Written and verbal communication skills in English sufficient for daily routine
