Junior Digital Project Coordinator
Digital nomads. Work from anywhereCompany: Olive Tree Consulting Group
We are looking for a Junior Digital Project Coordinator to support our work with an international logistics firm. This role focuses on keeping project timelines moving and ensuring information is shared clearly across remote teams. You will work closely with our advisors to help this client manage the gap between their business goals and their daily digital operations.
About the Role
At Olive Tree Consulting, we believe that projects often stall because of small, unaddressed gaps in communication or ownership. This role is here to prevent that. You will assist our senior advisors as they work with the logistics firm to refine their internal processes and digital tools. Your goal is to keep the administrative and digital components of the project organized so that the strategy actually turns into action. This is a junior position where you will learn how to structure high-level management advice into practical, manageable steps. Because we are a remote firm, you will rely heavily on clear writing and digital collaboration tools to keep everyone updated.
What You Will Do
* Attend project meetings to capture clear, written summaries of decisions and required actions.
* Update digital project boards and trackers to reflect current progress and ownership.
* Help coordinate the rhythm of weekly check-ins and monthly reviews for the logistics project.
* Identify where tasks are stalled and follow up with the relevant team members for updates.
* Maintain the project documentation library to ensure the client has a reliable record of past decisions.
* Support the creation of simple diagrams or maps showing how work moves from one department to another.
* Manage shared calendars and schedules to keep the project on track across different timelines.
* Prepare brief weekly status reports that highlight what was finished and what is coming up next.
What We Are Looking For
* You write clearly and avoid using jargon or overly complex language to explain things.
* You are organized by nature and enjoy creating order out of messy information.
* You have a high level of attention to detail and notice when names, dates, or details are inconsistent in a document.
* You are comfortable working in a fully remote environment where proactive communication is necessary.
* You stay calm when plans change and can update your trackers without losing sight of the goal.
* You are reliable and follow through on small tasks without needing constant reminders.
* You enjoy learning how businesses operate and why certain habits help a team work better together.
Helpful Background
* Familiarity with digital project management tools such as Notion, Trello, or similar platforms.
* Experience with standard office software for managing documents and basic spreadsheets.
* A background in a business related field of study or some experience in a customer-facing or administrative role.
* An interest in how logistics or supply chain companies function on an international scale.
* Basic understanding of how digital projects move from an initial idea to a finished product.
* Previous experience working or studying in a remote or distributed setting.
What We Offer
This position is a full-time, permanent role with an attractive compensation package that is competitive for the entry-level market. We work in a fully remote structure, which means we prioritize clear written communication and respect for your working hours. You will have the opportunity to learn directly from experienced advisors while working on a project for a major international logistics company. Our environment is supportive and focused on results rather than hours spent at a desk. We provide a workplace where your contributions to project clarity are genuinely valued and where you can grow your skills in project coordination.
About Olive Tree
Olive Tree Consulting Group is a focused advisory practice that helps leadership teams solve recurring management issues. We typically work on the space between strategy and daily execution. A team can have very capable people and still find that decisions keep reopening, priorities stall, or responsibility remains unclear. These are rarely personality problems: they are structural habits that have not kept up with the company growth.
We favor practical changes over large scale transformation programs. Our work involves looking at how decisions are made, how meetings are run, and how ownership is recorded. We prefer useful written notes and clear ownership over polished presentations and vague alignment. Good advisory work should make things plainer and leave the team with a rhythm they can continue on their own.
The firm is built on the principle that memory is not a management system. We help teams create the smallest possible written record to support their work so that important follow up does not depend on who was in the room or who has the best memory. The goal is a quieter management pattern that makes the existing work easier to lead.
