June's "small" recap

June's "small" recap

Husan

1st-2nd June

Started off the month with my first ever marathon. Along with my friends and a couple of new acquaintances, we embarked on a journey to Zaamin, Jizzakh. Ran 10 kms and finished 5th in my age category, finishing the whole thing in 76 mins. We also had some nice karaoke in the journey itself.

3rd-9th June

Spent a whole week preparing for the World Scholar's Cup. Because I had not taken part in the regional round of this very competition, I had to spent the half period getting myself acquainted with the rules and etc. The week was also memorable with quality time spent with friends; literally spent more time in my fav cafe Costa than my home.

10th-18th June

Our flight to Azerbaijan was on 11th early in the morning, so I started packing the day before. Had to deal with a few documents and bought a new suit for the ensuing event. Arrived in Baku and started exploring the city right away. Visited a few touristic spots, and later had a 200$ dinner in the countryside of Baku. (We did not pay a single penny; we were the guests). The tournament itself started on the 12th when we had a quick, and a bit boring, opening ceremony. Then we were divided into scav hunt groups and taken to the Old City. Completed a few tasks there and got so tired due to the hot weather. Thus, searched for the nearest cafe, and quite surprisingly, found my fav Costa cafe there as well; spent a few hours and came back to the hotel after a tiring day. The scheduled followed with the team challenge, debates, writing, and a quiz ball in the next two days. Not much was happening in this period. On the 16th of June, the competition found its end and we had a sweet closing ceremony. Won a few medals and a writing trophy. It was fun overall, and also made some new friends from Kazakhstan, NIS. Explored the city in the next few days remaining and also got to enjoy the sunrise on the shores of the Caspian sea; it was majestic. Bought some gifts for my family members and a book for myself and flew back to Tashkent on the 18th morning. Had a good experience. Slept the whole way through 19th because I was super tired after our trip.

19th-21st June

Dedicated the next 3 days for my graduation. We had it at school on 20th and at Hilton on 21st. Thought I would have some emotional time, but no, everything was fine. Made a valedictorian speech, received a red diploma with a gold medal, + 5.0 GPA. (and I am still not an academic weapon). Took some pictures and had a wonderful evening with my classmates.

22nd June

Had a group evening with Umidjon aka, where he revealed top secrets known to the top 1% (joking, we only had an intellectual and beneficial talk). It was fun too.

23rd-24th June

Took off 2 days to recover from all these tiring events and recharge my social battery, so I was not that much active, mainly doing the literature review for my research.

25th-26th June

Ibrat Farzandlari opened their offline centre in Jizzakh, and SATashkent was also invited. I was tasked with representing SATashkent in the event, so I said say no less. Slept the whole way through when going and met some wonderful people. Stayed in the same room with one of the IELTS 9 holders and exchanged some philosophical insight. Tried Jizzakh somsa for the first time and was in the same van with Umidjon aka (yes, again) when coming back to Tashkent; he was sharing some inspiring stories from his life. Btw, again, it was super hot in Jizzakh.

27th-30th June

Really needed to take off some more time to recharge my social battery and get back to my usual life, so I spent the last 4 days doing nothing, but thinking and resting. Had a bedtime rest of more than 10 hours for each day and was going to my fav cafe Costa almost each day to work on my research.

Overall

It was pretty hectic with tons of random and unexpected decisions. I really want to write more, but I am dead tired now and need to get my sleep asap.

P.S: my writing language here is rather simple. I deliberately avoided any advanced word or structure. Just wanted it to be understandable for more people. +, hard to write intelligently when you are tired like me.
