Jumbo Ties Its Dice Shaking With Sci Games Quartz ETGs
reelgame.siteTaiwan-based casino gaming equipment supplier Jumbo Technology has entered into a non-exclusive partnership with fellow supplier Scientific Games, allowing Jumbo's automated Shakers (e.g., photos) to "buy and connect" to the Quartz Hybrid, Scientific Games' electronic table system (ETG) terminal, in all but Macau.

Jumbo announced the partnership in a statement on Monday. It also mentioned that Scientific Games purchased the first unit of Jumbo's automated Seabo Dice Shaker and connected it to a total of 45 quartz hybrid terminals at Seven Luck Casino in Korea.
Last week, Scientific Games said its quartz hybrid product was placed at the Seven Luck Casino at the Millennium Hilton in southern Seoul, South Korea. It had 45 terminals installed, featuring several table games, including baccarat, roulette, and sivo, which are popular among Asian players, Scientific Games said at the time.
"We are honored to work with Scientific Games and supply their ETG arena with automated Seabody Shakers," Allen Su, Jumbo's vice president of business development, said in a prepared commentary in Monday's announcement.
"It's great to find synergies that bring outstanding gaming products with similar companies. At Jumbo, we're always open to partnership opportunities around the world," Hsu added.
Jumbo's automated Shabo Shaker is "based on the traditional Shabo concept," the Taiwanese company said, referring to the fact that it allows players to place bets even after shaking the dice inside a gold-domed container. The automated Shabo Shaker product is said to have been patented in Macau, Singapore and the United States.
In a statement on Monday, Jumbo noted that prior to the new partnership with Scientific Games, the dice shaker was developed for its own multi-game ETG arena.
