Jillian Michaels is engaged to her longtime love, DeShanna Marie Minuto.
The fitness instructor, 47, revealed the exciting news via Instagram on Sunday, writing, “1153 days… here’s to thousands more. She said ‘yes’ .”
Michaels revealed to People that she popped the question to Minuto, 36, on Saturday with a 7-carat emerald-cut diamond that was crafted by a family friend and specialty jeweler at H&H Jewelers in Miami.
“DeShanna is ‘all the things’ — beautiful, smart, funny, creative, quirky, passionate … I could run down the list of adjectives,” Michaels told the outlet. “Those characteristics obviously attract you to someone. But it’s the quality of their character that makes you think, ‘Thank God for this person laying next to me’ every night when you fall asleep.”
“It’s easy to stay together when everything is going great, but when real life sets in and things get messy, challenging, scary, and even downright ugly — that’s when the truth reveals itself,” she continued. “And this woman has revealed herself to be strong beyond measure, wise beyond her years, and loving beyond my wildest dreams. I am so grateful to officially call her mine.”
The engagement news comes shortly after the two celebrated their third anniversary as a couple. The Fitness App by Jillian Michaels creator documented the special day with a selfie that appeared to be taken from their bed.
“’We are all asleep until we fall in love.’ Happy Anniversary @deshannamarie I adore you,” she captioned it.
Michaels has been dating Minuto since 2018, after calling off her previous engagement to Heidi Rhoades after nearly a decade together.
Michaels and Rhoades share two children: daughter Lukensia, 11, and son Phoenix, 9. They adopted Lukensia from Haiti in 2012, while Rhoades gave birth to Phoenix that same year.

Jillian Michaels married fiancée DeShanna Marie Minuto after more than three years together, she shared on Instagram on July 22.
They tied the knot at a Miami courthouse on July 11 and then set off for Namibia, where they enjoyed a private wedding ceremony and honeymoon, according to People . That's not all—the couple plans to have another party on June 23, 2023, in Venice, Italy, per the outlet. Jillian confirmed it will be "a celebration with family and friends."
"It's an honor and an adventure saying I do to you," Jillian wrote on Instagram. "Finding you... my person... and eloping in Africa together has been one of the most magical and transformative chapters of my life."
She added, "We will treasure these experiences for the rest of our lives."
The Biggest Loser star, 48, and the fashion designer, 37, have been dating since 2018 and got engaged last November , when Jillian popped the question with a 7-carat emerald cut diamond ring.
In recent days, DeShanna has been giving some glimpses into their adventurous trip, including pics of their zebra sightings and helicopter ride over the Namib Desert. She tagged their location at the luxury camp and wilderness safari Serra Cafema in the Hartmann Valley of Namibia, before sharing a selfie from Angola.
Jillian's post included snapshots of the couple riding through the landscape, spotting elephants and dancing together.
The fitness expert shares kids Lukensia Michaels Rhoades , 12, and Phoenix Michaels Rhoades , 10, with ex-fiancée Heidi Rhoades . The pair split in 2018.
