The two busty women who flashed a World Series pitcher during Game 5 on Sunday work for the breast-obsessed digital magazine SHAGMAG, which one of its co-founders calls “the millennial version of Playboy.”
Instagram model Julia Rose, the CEO of SHAGMAG, and co-worker Lauren Summer lifted up their yellow T-shirts while Houston Astros pitcher Gerrit Cole was on the mound preparing for a pitch, temporarily halting the game and eventually landing the women an indefinite suspension from MLB match-ups.
Stephen McHugh, a co-founder of the digital mag, told a website Monday that the X-rated stunt was to promote Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is October.
“Rose … pushed for the stunt to create awareness on breast cancer,” McHugh wrote in an email to Larry Brown Sports . “Julia’s company, SHAGMAG, is the millennial version of PLAYBOY. The digital magazine features Julia Rose every month along with another famous influencer, creator, or model.”
It was far from the first time Rose has flashed her breasts in public.
She also ripped off her shirt on a roller coaster at an amusement park in June.

Julia Rose — who won fame for flashing her breasts on live TV during the 2019 World Series — was busted along with five others for changing the famous Hollywood sign to read “Hollyboob.”
The breast-obsessed provocateur took credit for the prank on Twitter, posting footage of her handcuffed from behind and the altered Los Angeles landmark.
She and five men were allegedly caught on surveillance scaling Mount Lee on Monday around 1:15 p.m. — prompting a police helicopter and park rangers to respond, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Photos show the iconic sign had a tarp with a “B” cast over its “W” and the “D” altered with a white dash — to spell “Hollyboob.”
The group was charged with misdemeanor trespassing and released.
“There’s no vandalism because the sign wasn’t damaged,” LAPD Capt. Steve Lurie told the LA Times.
Rose told the Daily Mail that the act was in protest to Instagram allegedly suspending her account this year for nudity. The 27-year-old model founded boob-centric online magazine ShagMag.
“This was to show them that I still have a voice,” she said. “My business for ShagMag with almost one million followers also got disabled this year due to nudity, but I’m not doing anything more than what Playboy is doing so I think they’re discriminating against my accounts.”
She also posted photos on Twitter giving the middle finger and sticking out her tongue in a black ShagMag crop top at the foot of the Hollywood sign.
“guys…. I finally fixed the Hollywood Sign,” she captioned the snap.
She tweeted later Monday night, “just got out of jail.”
Also arrested was YouTube sensation Jack Tenney told the Mail he couldn’t resist helping her in the prank.
“She inspired people with her content and Facebook didn’t give her any warning or anything and just took away her entire livelihood. It will make you lose sleep,” he told the outlet.
The pair said it was the third time they’d tried pulling off the stunt in six months.
“We tried pulling it off twice in October,” Rose told the Mail. “The first time we had two giant tarps that weighed 200 pounds each that we tried going uphill with. So we nixed that idea and decided to go from the top down.”
This time around, Tenney said they used a stroller with a fake baby in order to smuggle the tarps to the top of the hill.
“I think our biggest win was changing the D into a B with a small tarp,” Tenney said. “We had a good time and we just tired to do it as quick as we could and had to improvise a bit.”
Initial reports erroneously said the joke was for breast cancer awareness — which Tenney called a happy accident.
“At the very least, we couldn’t be more happy for the cause that it has become about based upon today’s headlines. I’ll take all the positive out of that,” he told the Mail.
Rose, who lives in Los Angeles and dated YouTube star Jake Paul , went viral two years ago after she and her pal Lauren Summer lifted up their shirts and revealed their bare breasts as Houston Astros pitcher Gerrit Cole was winding up a pitch in Game 5.
The racy stunt earned the women a lifetime ban from all Major League Baseball stadiums.
But Rose called the notoriety “one of the top moments of my life.”
“I’m still banned from any baseball games, but it’s worth it,” she told The Post last year. “I’ve always chased adrenaline.”

TWO stunning models claim they have been banned from attending baseball matches after flashing their boobs during a game.
The Washington Nationals were hosting the Houston Astros, with the fixture being broadcast live on Fox Sports.
But as the camera panned around during a break in play, two women in the crowd lifted their tops to reveal their breasts.
And after the clip was shared on social media, the two women involved have outed themselves as the 'offenders'.
Stunning model and magazine editor Julia Rose, 25, shared the video on Twitter writing "guilty as charged".
Rose is the founder of SHAGMAG, a digital magazine which users can pay to subscribe to, with the models later tweeting that proceeds from subscriptions help to pay for breast cancer victim's medical bills - hence their boob flash.
Another Instagram model, Kayla Lauren shared a clip after the stunt with the other two flashers, telling viewers to: "donate to breast cancer."
Rose also posted "whoops, the wind blew up my top" and "my lil nips made it #WorldSeries".
And Lauren Summer, 24, posted to her Instagram story news reports of the incident writing "we did it guys".
She also posted the clip on Twitter saying that she "had to do it for the internet".
Los Angeles-based brunette Rose also uploaded what she claims is a letter from Major League Baseball notifying her that she is now banned from "all stadiums" due to her actions.
It reads: "On October 27, 2019, you attended World Series Game 5 at Nationals Park in Washington DC.
"During the game you violated the fan code of conduct by exposing yourself during the 7th inning, in order to promote a business.
"You were also part of a scheme in which you induced others to expose themselves to promote their business.
"You are hereby banned from all Major League Baseball stadiums and facilities, indefinitely."
The letter supposedly was sent to Rose from David L Thomas, who is the vice president of "Security and Ballpark Operations" for the "Office of the Commissioner".
Summer also uploaded a photo of the same letter that she was also sent.
Several people however, have posted their doubt that the letter is genuine due to how quickly the two models received the letters.
However, Summer later tweeted: "To clarify, yes we knew we would get banned, yes the letters are real, and yes I would do it again lol.
"More importantly, subscribe to @SHAGMAG_ because the proceeds go directly to women with breast cancer to pay for their medical bills."
Rose has 2.8million followers on Instagram , where she regularly uploads photos of her posing topless, covering her nipples with her hands or with carefully positioned emojis.
She has previously shared footage of her driving topless as well as taking a ride on a roller-coaster without a top on.
Summer has 1.5million followers and works for Playboy.
