Judgement Card Game

This bot can be used to play the famous Indian card game Judgement. Add this bot as admin in a group and you can enjoy the card game in a telegram group.

How does the game work?

Spade is ♠️, Hearts is ♥️, Club is ♣️, Diamond is♦️. Trump is a special suit which beats all other suits. aka hukum ka patta. Dealer is a player who plays first card of a hand.

♠️ In each round, an equal number of cards are dealt to all players.

♠️ At the start of the round, every player gets to look at the cards and give a judgement count of how many hands he/she can make.

♠️ The number of hands you can win depends on how good your cards are compared to others and how many trump cards you have got

♠️ A 4 player game starts with a round of 13 cards each and. The next round is with 12 cards, the next with 11 cards and so on all the way to the last round with 1 card each.

♠️ In every round, the sum of all the judgement counts should not match with the total cards in that round. This will ensure at least one player misses the judgement.

♠️ It's all about how you judge your cards! Only if your judgement is exact, you get points, otherwise no points.

How to make hands: 🖐 (skip this if you know it already)

❤️ The player who starts the hand is called the dealer. For the first hand of each round, the player with the highest judgement becomes the dealer, and afterward, the winner of the previous hand becomes the dealer.

❤️ All players take turns to play a card from their deck. The bot will tell you whose turn it is to play next, starting with the dealer.

❤️ The player must play a card of the same suit as the dealer's suit. A higher card of the dealer's suit should be played to win the hand.

❤️ If a player doesn't have the card of the dealer's suit, any other suit's card can be played in the hand. A trump card should be played to win the hand.

❤️ If another player plays a higher trump, he wins the hand.

Scoring

♣️ If you make the exact number of hands as judged, you get a score, otherwise no score.

♣️ If you judge x hands and make, you get x * 11 + 10 points.

♣️ The highest scorer after all the rounds is declared as the winner.

How to use the bot?

♦️ Create a new group and add all the players in the group. (Prefer to create a new group so that you do not spam others with so many messages)

♦️ Add this bot Judgement_gamebot as an admin member. This bot will delete wrong moves and needs to be an admin for that

♦️ Someone(host) can start the game by issuing the command /newgame @Judgement_gamebot

♦️ Every player should click the Join button to participate

♦️ Modify trump settings as per your need

♦️ Click on Start game when all the players have joined. You cannot add new players or kick existing players. So make sure to start the game only when all players are online.

Features supported by the bot:

• minimum 2 players and maximum 6 players supported
• Option to keep the trump suit fixed or to change every round

When set to change every round, the trump is selected in following sequence: Spade ♠️ Hearts ♥️ Club ♣️ Diamond ♦️ No trump

• Admin permission allows the bot to delete old messages so that players cannot look at previous moves to decide gameplay
• Admin permission also allows to delete the message if someone tries to cheat by playing an invalid card
