For my readers that have read Destiny, did you know that the scene where Deanna scrys for Bridgid I listened to one certain song, and timed the scene to the music? Arise by ES Posthumous. Everytime it pops up in an orchestral compilation I'm listening to, I have to stop what I'm doing and just listen to it. Find that song on YouTube and play it from the start where Deanna cuts herself to her telling Roman and Benjamin that she found Bridgid.
So, my project with my co-author is getting pushed back. I take full responsibility for it. I had hoped to have it edited and released by July, but it's not in the cards for this year. The universe is shoving sign after sign for us to hold back on it, so we're listening. It needs to wait so we can release this series the way it needs to be released. It pains me, but it's what has to happen.

This week, I'm sampling from the same WIP as last week, for # SixSentenceSunday . Some tension in the story now, the meat of it is coming together :)
“You agreed to this when we got married, why is it an issue now?” “Because…” she trailed off as she realized the exact reason why she was so bothered by it then. “Because I see you in the ring, and I want it back. You haven’t slowed down since we got married, why should I?” “I thought you wanted kids,” he said, glancing over at … her. “Kinda have to have sex to make babies, Jacob.”
This week's # SixSentenceSunday comes from a current WIP about a married couple who are pro wrestlers working to rekindle the romance in their marriage. I'm proud of this new WIP because it's the first thing I've started in six months. :) YAY!
Antonia “Toni Baby” Roberts loved that feeling. The pop of the crowd when the entrance music hit, there was nothing in the world like it. She took her husband’s hand as her breathing seemed to slow and they stepped around the screens. She let him lead her out onto the stage where she twirled, and he worked the crowd up, holding his championship belt high over his head with pride. The spotlight hit them and though she could hear the crowd, she couldn’t see them. It was enough to quell her stage fright until they got into the ring.
This week's # SixSentenceSunday comes from a work in progress that I've sampled before. I love dialogue, and use it often to give backgrounds, likes and dislikes … for characters, and general humor. You have to have humor in a story ;)
“What makes you think I got her for protection?” “That’s why I’m asking,” he fired back with a smile on his lips. “I like the smaller dog, plus with my small place she fits perfectly.” “What’s the real reason you got her, little one?” Carly scrunched her forehead as she glared up at him. “What makes you think that’s not the real reason?” “No one likes small dogs,” he said so matter of factly that Carly had to laugh at it.
