RED BANK, NJ – Rock legend and philanthropist Jon Bon Jovi has officially opened a new state-of-the-art homeless shelter in his home state of New Jersey, furthering his years-long commitment to fighting homelessness.

The new facility, named 'The Bon Jovi Home,' is located in Red Bank and will provide temporary housing, job training, and mental health services to those in need. The shelter, funded largely by Bon Jovi’s JBJ Soul Foundation, aims to help individuals transition into stable living situations.

At the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Bon Jovi spoke passionately about the project: 'Everyone deserves a safe place to call home. This isn’t just about a roof over someone’s head—it’s about giving people the tools they need to rebuild their lives.'

The shelter is the latest in a series of initiatives by the JBJ Soul Foundation, which has already helped build over 600 units of affordable housing across the U.S. Bon Jovi has long been an advocate for social causes, using his platform to raise awareness and funds for homelessness, hunger, and veterans' support.

Local officials praised the rocker’s efforts, with New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy calling him 'a true hometown hero who leads with his heart.'
