This guy is AWESOME! Earlier I posted that it had broke after 3 days, but it turns out that I didn't have the plug pushed into the outlet far enough. It threw me off because the lights inside the ghost came on - indicating there was power - but it didn't inflate, so I figured the motor was bad. Turns out it just needed to be plugged into the wall ALL THE WAY for the motor to get going full power. So that was my mistake! I am so excited for trick-or-treaters to come to my house! He's WAY taller than I even imagined. We used him inside at our high school carnival and he hit the ceiling, but his head just bend to the side a little. Still looked cool! We put him on our porch last night because we are expecting heavy rains and we made him looking like he was popping out of the bushes to get the kids as they come to the door. I hope this inflatable lasts a long time!!

I hate to give bad reviews but I have no choice. I purchased the product in early September to surprise my grand kids. I gave it to them a week ago and today the blower no longer works. So it’s been about a week. It hasn’t rained or had any abuse. They’re yard is full of blow up Halloween decorations because it’s a tradition. They’ve got 6 or 7 now and they have all worked for years. I’m obviously disappointed that it’s not working but I’m equally disturbed that it only has a 30 day warranty. Which of course has expired a couple of weeks ago. That really is a bit short considering the general circumstances of Halloween. I don’t think everyone waits until the week before to order decorations so 30 days is a bit disingenuous in my opinion.

What's not to like about a 12' tall inflatable ghost? We stood him up on our front patio overlooking the gate, and we also took him to a "trunk or treat" event. It worked great, and was the talk of halloween around here. A couple things you should know. If you're not setting it up in grass where you can use the stakes, you're going to keep to add weight to the base. I went to a craft store and bought small backs of decorative rocks/glass and tied them to the loops at the base of the ghost. It has a couple of beanbags inside, but not nearly enough weight to keep him upright. Once I did that it was perfect.

Dead on arrival! Never got to use it, as it never powered up. Checked the power connections, and double checked the outlets it was plugged into, all good. Presumably a power supply issue, since neither the fan or the internal lights went on. Packed it up, and shipped it back. Didn't opt for a replacement as I it didn't appear to be a quality product overall, and the fan in comparison to other inflatables I own, was considerably smaller.

Looks great when inflated. But due to the week fan, you need to lift it off the ground to make it stand upright. If it rains you also need to squeeze the water out if it. And the stakes are pathetic. They’re like using chopsticks to hold it down. But it does look pretty cool once it is working right.

This is my first inflatable. The 12ft is to the tip top of his head, so I would not buy any that is shorter. It inflates very quickly. It needs a little help half way, especially if dew or rain is on it. The lighting is very visible at night. The review lost stars for the poor excuse for stakes that come with it. Buy your own stakes ahead of time or the first strong wind will have it on the ground. Water does get in somewhere, so after a rain, it needs help getting water out of the hands and arms. Overall, I am please with this first inflatable. To bad they don't think out the staking, or they would have had FIVE stars.

We had a very rainy October and this ghost passed the test. It’s in perfect condition after many rain storms. I mostly left it inflated, day and night, but sometimes, when the wind was stronger, I would deflate it so water would end up puddled everywhere on and around it. But that didn’t stop it from working perfectly every time I would re-inflate. I’m seriously impressed with the quality of this thing. It’s giant and awesome. I’m very happy with this purchase. I can’t wait to put it up again next year.

This thing is terrible. It barely works when plugged in inside the house, I couldn't imagine anyone actually using it outside. Biggest piece of crap I've ever bought. Definitely do not recommend. The fan is terribly weak and cannot get the ghost to stand on its own without you assisting it upwards. Definitely DO NOT recommend.

Looks good but fan is tiny and not much pressure inside.

The ghost itself is great but the fan that inflates it is tiny. It’s about the size of your fist. It inflates but there is very little pressure inside it. So, if there’s a strong wind, it can buckle over. It lights up well and the LED light string inside is a great idea as you won’t have to deal with burned out bulbs. It’s pretty bright. It has three guy wires but four would be better. The pegs are tiny too. I used my own tent pegs as I don’t trust them.

We aren’t really fans of inflatable decorations, but our daughter is. This one seems like a great compromise. It’s substantial enough to be visible, but it isn’t so tall it overtakes everything. We have it in a somewhat protected corner, as far as wind is concerned, but it has handled a thunderstorm with no issues. Update, 1 year later: the motor still works and it’s still adorable. However, it looks very, very dim this year. It appears there is only 1 tiny LED in the back of each “character.” A couple of the bulbs appear to be blown this year. The ones that remain are incredibly dim. Waiting on a response to see if these bulbs can be changed.

In theory, this is a great inflatable with happy characters, decent size and good lighting. But, 2 of the 6 characters never inflates properly and I look like the odd neighbor out there every evening trying to make all kinds of adjustments so they stand up straight! When they inflate, the witch looks like she’s bowing and the big pumpkin head body looks like the others tripped him and he face planted. Every. Time. This thing is like a European sports car, it’s great once you get it going, but plan on it needing constant attention.

Arrived open box with everything fallen out and blew within 24 hours as have the other 3 inflatables I bought from seller JoyinDirect. Inflatables from other sellers are fine.

It’s as cute as it looks. However, it lasted one night. It wasn’t even windy over here and yet tonight, there’s a huge hole in the ghost. Clearly not durable at all. What a disappointment.

This is a cute inflatable but it is definitely not 8 feet long. It's six feet at most. That was a little disappointing. The seller needs to re-measure and update the listing so others won't feel slightly annoyed upon arrival. That being said, the item itself is whimsical, easy to set up, and blows up fully in 90 seconds.

We had this up for one week and the lights burned out. I am really disgusted with inflatables. This seems to happen over and over. I will not be purchasing anymore.
