So, when it comes to the most famous, just who makes the cut? Well, we’ve compiled a list of the most famous penises in history, both fact and fiction.
Grigori Rasputin was a Russian mystic who had a following of people that believed he had supernatural powers and was a psychic and faith healer. He ultimately decided to become a female, whom he named Lili Elbe, and underwent a series of experimental operations one of which removed his penis. Amazingly, considering the times, Elbe was able to have her marriage annulled and even had a new birth certificate issued with her female gender.
Lili passed away at age 48 as a result of one of her sex change surgeries. His wife Gerda was a huge supporter of both her husband, and his decision to transition. She eventually re-married and continued her passion with art.
