CHAPTER 8:

At verse 22, seems like the Jews don't knew how to understand different reigns, as they have not understood that Jesus is going to the Reign of God.

At 23, "I am not of this world", another verse that shows the state of this world.

At 32, "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free".

And i think there is more to it, as it was said to the Jews that began to believe him.

So i think once again, that by that the ones that hold to the teachings are going to know the truth and set themselves free, then it is also a way to show how those who are under God's teachings may eventually have a more direct contact with God.

34, "everyone who sins is a slave to sin".

At verse 42, i wrote on my conclusion things about "those who see, hear and etc" God, and think this chapter there is something about this at verses 42-47.

Here we can see that, there are some that God is their father, and some that belong to the devil (42 and 44).

And that the ones that doesn't belong to God normally have a lack of understanding:

"Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say" (43);

"If I am telling the truth, why don’t you believe me?" (46).

And this lack of understanding is because the devil have no truth in him, and the ones that belong to God hears what God says (42 and 44 to 47).

What i think it is important to note here, is that in this chapter, it looks like Jesus is being under lot of religious baits (6, 13, 22 and 25).

At 51, "Very truly I tell you, whoever obeys my word will never see death", i believe that even on a physical level...

At 55 we can see once again that Jesus / God doesn't lie.

At 56, "Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad", if Abraham rejoiced bout it, was it that he predicted that when he was alive, or is him following Jesus' deeds on another realm? As it would then be a difficult question for those who believe that death is a "mere sleep until the day of resurrection".

At 57 to 59, here we can see that these Jews can only think on a physical-realm level.

They looked at his age and though only about his conscience knowing what was limited to his body.

I also think this is not limited to Jesus, even if he was the first.

But that one of the things Jesus was trying to teach is that there are other realms of existence and our spiritual body can be part of that which was long ago and of what is now. That the dead can possible be in another realm and not "merely sleeping".

I think this kind of thinking is considering the reality as purely the dead material part and ignoring that the soul and spirit are on "something beyond".

However, i still think that "everything is here", but only on subtle layers, but everything here.

At 59, were the disciples seeing him hiding and run somewhere else? Had they kept there? Was everyone fleeing in panic and nobody knows, they just know "well, Jesus have hid somewhere"?
