Job Opportunity with NAFIR Project Office

The National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE), in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA), invites qualified and experienced professionals to apply for senior leadership and technical positions under the National Agri-Finance Implementation Roadmap (NAFIR) Project Office. These full-time roles support the coordinated development and interim implementation of NAFIR, a flagship initiative aimed at strengthening Ethiopia’s agri-finance ecosystem and establishing an independent NAFIR institution by 2027.

Available positions include NAFIR Project Office Director, NAFA Manager, NAFA Credit, Risk, and Compliance Manager, and NAFA Credit, Risk, and Compliance Officer. The roles offer a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of public policy, finance, and agricultural development, engaging closely with financial institutions, regulators, development partners, and government stakeholders to deliver impactful agri-finance solutions nationwide.
