Jessie James Decker "treated" herself to a set of breast implants that made her "a brand-new woman."
This week, the 33-year-old country singer and wife of former NFL player Eric Decker, showed off the results of her surgery in a new Instagram photo, modeling a blue bikini from her Kittenish clothing line. "I treated myself... to new boobies!" she wrote on Instagram . "After deciding we were done having babies I was finally ready to go big or go home ha! I had breast reduction and lift a couple years ago when they were hanging down to my belly button but with having such elastic skin and not being happy with the size I decided to do it. They were so big and perky before children and I wanted them back ... plus some."
Jessie, who shares daughter Vivianne, 7, Eric, 5, and Forrest, 3, with Eric, added, "I feel great. I’m super happy with them and felt like a brand new woman when I was trying on our new Kittenish swim and loving the way they finally filled out the tops like I wanted. It’s not for everybody but it was certainly for me! I always say, you do you and do what makes you feel confident and sexy."
Last year, Jessie opened up about her body in an Instagram post, alongside a photo in which she pinched the flesh on her stomach. "I'll be honest I still get insecure when I put a swimsuit on sometimes because of how much loose skin I have from my pregnancies," she wrote. "I’ve had a few breast reduction surgeries and lifts to try to tighten up the skin on my breasts ( at one point the skin was so loose from growing to a size G from breastfeeding that I swear they could hit my belly button no joke ) but now I have been left with really intense scars all the way around my cleavage that I try to hide out of insecurity. It’s really wild after children how much my body changed."
Explaining that she craved support from moms, Jessie wrote, "…I know a lot of moms feel the same way…growing a baby is such a beautiful superpower and I don’t want to sound like I’m complaining one bit but I am a human being and sometimes the loose skin does make me a little insecure and make me wonder if I’m still sexy to Eric or if people are looking at my stomach when I’m in a bikini…"
Jessie's post follows celebrity moms who disclosed their own body enhancements. In February, Southern Charm star Madison LeCroy , 30, shared a topless Instagram photo , the result of breast augmentation. "After giving birth to an 10-pound baby eight years ago, I no longer felt confident in my own skin," she wrote.
"…Women should never be shamed for doing anything that makes themselves more confident or love themselves more. If it makes you feel better about yourself, do it!" Prior to her surgery, LeCroy wrote in her Instagram Stories, "I am going to try to keep the same size that I have right now, but just an implant, and once you have children, guys, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about — if you're a mom, you already do."
And in March, country singer-actress Jana Kramer , 37, disclosed her upcoming breast implant surgery. "…After having babies, I had a new set of insecurities with my body," she wrote on Instagram . "Things didn’t go back to normal, and I carry a lot of embarrassment when I’m undressed." Kramer and her former NFL husband Mike Caussin, who are divorcing, share daughter Jolie, 5, and son Jace, 2.
A spokesperson from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons tells Yahoo Life that it does not track the number of "mommy makeover" procedures, which the organization defines as "a specialized combination of body contouring procedures, performed together to improve the physical changes that linger long after pregnancy," due to their varied nature.
However, an April survey of 1,000 women conducted by the organization found that the pandemic drove interest in plastic surgery. Eleven percent of women are more interested in cosmetic plastic surgery or non-surgical procedures today compared to before the pandemic began, with 24 percent of women who have previously had work done, in agreement. An additional 35 percent who underwent surgery in the past, plan to pay "significantly" more or somewhat more on procedures in 2021, compared to last year. The findings also pinpointed a specific demand for facial work due to Zoom culture and named tummy tucks and liposuction top treatments in 2021 (among women who are mulling surgery in the near future) thanks to quarantine weight gain.
Bethany Marshall , a Los Angeles-based psychotherapist, tells Yahoo Life that Jessie's reveal challenges antiquated societal views of women. "Posts like these integrate the idea that women can be maternal and sexy," she says, especially as the average human lifespan is longer than ever before and with celebrity moms like Paulina Porizkova and Jennifer Lopez leading the charge.
"It's healthy for mothers to see the physical work it often takes to look like a celebrity," notes Marshall. "She's being honest about this piece of motherhood so women don't buy into the fantasy of perfection."
Although some commenters tried to warn Jessie about the dangers of breast implant illness (physical or mental side effects that are associated with silicone or saline implants), most loved her frankness: "Thank you for managing realistic expectations for the women and young girls following you and being transparent," "We live once and it’s important to feel good in our own skin" and "I love when women are confident about being honest when they get something done."

Jessie James Decker is showing off her new boobs!
On Thursday, the 33-year-old country singer took to Instagram to share a picture of her body in a blue bikini after undergoing breast augmentation surgery — and also to say she’s “really happy” with the results! Jessie kicked off the lengthy reveal by writing:
“I treated myself… to new boobies! After deciding we were done having babies I was finally ready to go big or go home ha! I had breast reduction and lift a couple years ago when they were hanging down to my belly button but with having such elastic skin and not being happy with the size I decided to do it. They were so big and perky before children and I wanted them back … plus some.”
The former reality star, who is mom to Vivianne , Eric , and Forrest , added how she feels more comfortable with her new physique, explaining:
“I feel great; I’m super happy with them and felt like a brand new woman when I was trying on our new @kittenish swim and loving the way they finally filled out the tops like I wanted. it’s not for everybody but it was certainly for me!”
And while the momma recognized plastic surgery is not for everyone, she told her fans to still “do what makes you feel confident and sexy.” Ch-ch-check out the transformation (below):

Wow, we love to see the confidence!!! The musician has always been open about her health and fitness journey since having children. Last year, Jessie hopped on social media to admit how she still feels “insecure” even after losing postpartum weight and getting a breast reduction and lift. She confessed at the time:
“I’ll be honest I still get insecure when I put a swimsuit on sometimes because of how much loose skin I have from my pregnancies. I’ve had a few breast reduction surgeries and lifts to try to tighten up the skin on my breasts (at one point the skin was so loose from growing to a size G from breastfeeding that I swear they could hit my belly button no joke) but now I have been left with really intense scars all the way around my cleavage that I try to hide out of insecurity.”
The author went on to note how other moms should not feel alone with this struggle, sharing:
“The reason why I’m sharing this emotion is because I know a lot of moms feel the same way and sometimes I just feel frustrated that no matter how hard I worked out or toned up the skin remains and it’s just something that I struggle with from time to time.”
“I am a human being and sometimes the loose skin does make me a little insecure and make me wonder if I’m still sexy to Eric or if people are looking at my stomach when I’m in a bikini which I’m sure sounds silly but it’s just me being in my head sometimes.”
Even so, body insecurity is something almost everyone can relate to, and we are glad to see Jessie absolutely glowing after her procedure!
There are plenty of men who have arrangements with their exes, but most don’t go around telling their wives — and Time magazine — all about it. Man, the rich really are different…
What the heck are we talking about??
Since Bill and Melinda Gates announced their divorce , the public have been hungry for deets on exactly what happened. Obviously there was some problem money couldn’t solve, that’s for sure.
While so far we’ve gotten precious few details, we do know Melinda called the marriage “irretrievably broken” in her filing. And more recently we’ve learned from a recent TMZ report that “virtually everyone in the family took Melinda’s side” because they “were furious at Bill for various things they claim he had done.” Wow, that really hints at this split being way juicier than we expected. But what kind of “things” are we talking about??
Well, in the internet’s scramble to figure that out, an old Time profile from early in their marriage has resurfaced. In the 1997 article, Bill discusses an “arrangement” he had kept with his ex-girlfriend, one Melinda ostensibly gave her blessing.
We’re talking about Ann Winblad , a software pioneer he started dating in 1984. The two reportedly split due to her desire to get married and have children; she was five years older than Gates. Their breakup was in 1987 — the year Melinda (then French) joined Microsoft .
Ann, as it turns out, remained incredibly important to him even as his relationship with Melinda got more serious. He told the magazine:
“When I was off on my own thinking about marrying Melinda, I called Ann and asked for her approval.”
So it wasn’t long before Bill was married, just to someone else — but moving on feels like the wrong way to put what was happening here. Because even a decade later Bill and Ann were still vacationing together!
As journalist Walter Isacson reported in the mag:
“Even now, Gates has an arrangement with his wife that he and Winblad can keep one vacation tradition alive. Every spring, as they have for more than a decade, Gates spends a long weekend with Winblad at her beach cottage on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, where they ride dune buggies, hang-glide and walk on the beach.”
Both openly discussed the unusual tradition, Bill saying:
“We can play putt-putt while discussing biotechnology.”
“We share our thoughts about the world and ourselves. And we marvel about how, as two young overachievers, we began a great adventure on the fringes of a little-known industry and it landed us at the center of an amazing universe.”
OK, that sounds swell and all, but… they dated . Would YOU be chill with your husband, the man you had been with for a decade, going on weekend-long getaways with his ex?
It’s unclear how long this arrangement lasted, but we do know Ann did eventually move on for real. She’s now happily married to Alex Kline , the younger brother of Oscar winner Kevin Kline . The two got married just six years ago — could the annual weekend getaways really have gone on until then? We do know for a fact Winblad’s beach cottage where they met up has been available for rent since 2016 — a “retreat” for “beach lovers” per the rental listing, according to the NY Post .
Hey, maybe this has nothing to do with the breakup. Or maybe Melinda was not so OK with it as she made it seem — and put an end to the vacays shortly after the article came out.
It certainly seems like ancient history at this point, but it is a window into what may have been an odd marriage indeed.
