The fashion designer and pop star marked the day by taking to social media to post a sexy topless photo of herself soaking up the sun. Simpson looked incredible as she relaxed on a green inflatable toy in a huge pool overlooking the California landscape. She appeared to be carefree with a summery drink in her hand. Plus, in the caption of the photo, she left a silly message for her age gone by and let 36 know what to do with itself. Check it out:
At 37, Jessica Simpson is looking better than ever. She is a prime example of the kind of person who makes people ask, "How does she do it?" Simpson and her husband, Eric Johnson, have a five-year-old daughter, Maxwell Drew Johnson, and a four-year-old son, Ace Knute Johnson. Simpson and the former professional football player are raising their children in California.
Meanwhile, Jessica Simpson is the head of the fashion empire The Jessica Simpson Collection, which rakes in the dough with sales from accessories, clothes, fragrances, handbags, jewelry, and shoes. Plus, Simpson reportedly has been back in the studio working on new songs for an upcoming album. So, she deserved this birthday time out.

Another thing Jessica Simpson seems to understand is how to throw the perfect birthday party. Her pool party picture looks super relaxed, but Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson recently threw over-the-top birthday bashes for their children . For Ace Knute Johnson's recent fourth birthday, the celebrity couple put together a birthday party with a Moana theme. It may come as no surprise to you that Jessica Simpson is somewhat of an icon on Instagram. And recently, the star posted a pretty NSFW picture , showing her completely naked, aside from a strategically placed hat and a pair of sunglasses. But, there was something other than the full-frontal nudity that got fans' attention.
Posting on Instagram earlier this week the singer and fashion entrepreneur shared the snap with her 6m followers, showing her perched in a wicker egg chair , wearing what appears to be absolutely zero aside from a cowboy hat and a pair of daisy sunglasses.
Obviously she looks stunning, but even in the face of full-frontal nudity fans had other, clearly more pressing, questions for the star.
Some just wanted to know where the chair was from (it's the Anthropologie Peacock chair, FYI), while others only had eyes for the sunglasses.
After one fan commented "the sunglasses" others got involved trying to track down where they were from.
"I need these," one fan wrote, while another responded, "anyone know where these can be bought!?" and a third person said, "Where are these shades from???"
Unluckily for all of us, one fan did in fact source the sunnies, but not only are they Dolce & Gabbana, they're limited edition from 2019. Gutted.
At least our daisy duke queen looks to be living her best life, good for her.

Jessica Simpson proudly posted a sexy bikini selfie via Instagram on Thursday after shedding 100 pounds for the third time.
“I have gained and lost 100lbs 3x so I never thought this moment could or would happen, but I’m finally spring breakin’ wearin’ a BIKINI!!!!!!” the pop star-turned-billion-dollar fashion boss captioned the sizzling hot pic.
“Hard work. Determination. Self Love,” she continued, revealing what went into her fitness journey. “I enjoyed a good proud cry today ”
In the photo, Simpson, 41, flaunted her fit figure in a pink-and-orange paisley two-piece ($104) from her own swim collection.
Fans immediately flooded the “Irresistible” singer’s comments section with messages of love and support.
“ amazing accomplishment-not just the weight but the self confidence. Love to see it! And you look great!!” one impressed follower wrote, while another chimed in, “Stunning mama! Such an inspiration! ”
Added one more, “So proud of all your hard work Jessica!!!”
Meanwhile, Simpson’s famous pal Paris Hilton left a series of flame emojis under the snap.
Others reminded the “Open Book” author that she is beautiful at any size.
“You look great Jess but please remember that you are beautiful no matter what you look like in a bikini,” one person wrote.
“Great message here Jessica but you’re always perfect no matter what,” another encouraged. “10 years ago, today and 10 years from now!”
In April 2021, Simpson — who shares kids Maxwell, 9, Ace, 8, and Birdie, 3, with husband Eric Johnson — revealed in a “Today” show interview that she threw out her scale following years of body image struggles.
“I threw it out,” she said of her scale, joking that it was like having a Ouija board in church. “[I have] no idea how much I weigh.”
Simpson — who faced particularly harsh body-shaming in 2009 after being photographed in a pair of high-waisted “mom jeans” — added that she has “really tried [her] hardest” to not let the public’s fascination with her weight fluctuations get to her.
That same month, Simpson said on a “Drew Barrymore Show” appearance that she weighed 260 pounds at one point while pregnant with Birdie.
“I was much heavier than my husband, who played in the NFL, so that pregnancy really did me in,” she said at the time. “That was real heavy for me.”
During the early stages of her weight loss, Simpson said that she learned the importance of balance.
“If you’re disciplined, it can come off,” she explained. “And you can still eat a dang cookie. I hate diets!”
