Has Jessica met her match? Jessica Wakefield is rocking everyone's world at the Florida Specialized Security Academy.  The only person she can't impress is her drill sergeant, Vanessa T.  Pruitt.  Jessica is tired of scrubbing toilets and getting stuck on night watch.  Can she cook up a plan wicked enough to give Sergeant Pruitt a taste of her own cruelty? Elizabeth Wakefield's off-Broadway dreams are turning into nightmares faster than she can say "Bravo!"  Her coproducers are pretentious snobs.  Her lead actress couldn't act her way out of a shopping bag.  And Tom Watt's failure to get a job-- any job--is driving her crazy!  Is Elizabeth's final curtain call coming sooner than she expected?

“Ugh: A Haiku” Jessica, oh Jess You are attempting your best But I am so bored What a stinker this one was. The middle SV books usually are. The whole fight with Jessica and Pruitt was beyond stupid. So was Liz still thinking she’s god’s gift to theater whilst cheating on Tom. All you really need to know: Tom gets a job and then quits it after betraying Liz. Liz has horrible actors in her play. Celebrity Vince Klee is in love with Liz. Jess agrees to a boxing match with Pruitt but rigs the game and gets expelled from security academy. She’s depressed for like two seconds and then heads to the land of manicures and cute boys, aka New York, where Liz is. After deplaning she immediately meets Vince Klee. Cue fireworks. Quotes: Hildy to Liz: Maybe you should retitle the play Autobiography of a Semitalented Bore. Jessica to herself: Pure, priceless Wakefield blood courtesy of Vanessa T. Pruitt. Omg. Now Wakefield blood is PURE and PRICELESS. At least that explains why all those vampires and wolves are always after them.
