She's never shied away from the spotlight as a top dancer and actress in the entertainment industry.
But Jenna Dewan admitted to Women's Health that she's becoming in touch with her 'womanly power' following the end of her nearly nine year marriage to Channing Tatum .
The 37-year-old World of Dance host shed her clothing to display her incredibly toned figure for the entirely nude article in the Global Naked Issue which was shot in the remote desert of Joshua Tree, California .

'I did a lot of work healing from the inside out, becoming more in touch with my womanly power,' she said after announcing the end to her marriage in April. 'It was always, 'I'm a dancer,' or 'I'm married,' or 'I'm an actress.' Over the last couple of years, it became about learning about myself.'
Accepting the changes in her personal life was challenging, but the Step Up star is taking things in stride.
'I feel I've been on a wave of growth,' she said. 'It does look different; it's a new normal, and I really think we'll get used to that.

'It's been a journey, and it's been a transformation of myself—my needs and wants as a woman. I think everyone wants to hold on to what's in front of them, but when you open your mind, saying, 'I want what's best for myself and my daughter,' you have to be okay with however that looks.'
The couple announced the end to their marriage at the beginning of April via shared Instagram posts.
'It's always challenging to go through a big change and have the whole world have an opinion about it,' she said of their public personas.
'I feel I've been on a wave of growth,' she said. 'It does look different; it's a new normal, and I really think we'll get used to that'

Despite finding their new normal, Jenna remains optimistic about the future and positively co-parenting their five-year-old daughter Everly.
'It's okay for a relationship to change into a new form that is actually better for both people involved, and I think that's maybe what shocked everyone so much—that it can be a positive thing,' she said. 'That was ultimately what happened with us.'
In addition to working on herself from the inside, Dewan remains focused in the gym to keep her dancer's body as fit as ever.
'I really like to feel strong, and I like to feel curvy. And when I say 'curvy,' I mean 'muscular.' In the gym, I add more weight rather than increasing reps because I want to build muscle, so I can pick up my daughter,' she said. 'Before, it used to be like, 'I wanna get long, lean muscles.' Now, I'm just like, 'I wanna feel strong and good.'

Jenna Dewan is stripping down for her latest photo shoot.
On Thursday, the star shared photos of herself posing completely nude as she graced the cover of Women's Health's September issue.
"Thank you @WomensHealthMag for my most, shall I say, freeing shoot yet...?!! And thank you for promoting confidence...bare, stripped down, just as you are," Dewan, 37, captioned a snap of the magazine cover .
In a seperate post , the actress shared a picture of herself baring it all as she looks away from the camera.
"Thank you again @dennisleupold @womenshealthmag for making me feel so comfortable and for taking a trip to one of my favorite places," Dewan said of the photo shoot site, which took place outside of Joshua Tree National Park in California.
As for whether Dewan was nervous to pose nude, the star explained that she's "been a dancer" her "entire life."
"So I’m used to little clothing,” she told the outlet. “You lose a sense of modesty.”
Dewan, who shares 5-year-old daughter Everly with estranged husband, Channing Tatum , also spoke about how she recently learned the term "mom-shaming" after she posted a sexy photo of herself on social media, which ultimately drew criticism from fans.
"Apparently, when you become a mother, you’re supposed to leave your sexuality at the door, and I never understood that,” she said.
“I think there’s nothing sexier than becoming a mother. You give life. It’s everything. And you don’t change who you are inside just because you have a kid.”
The former "Step Up" star went on to explain that she wants her daughter to one day look at the images, and "Be like, ‘Wow, my mother was a fully actualized, sensual woman.’”

Jenna Dewan , who is currently vacationing with her fiancé Steve Kazee, posted a series of pics including one nude photo of the two on social media. The pics are from their romantic getaway where the couple is celebrating her 41st birthday. "Thank you, baby." she captioned a series of images from their stay, adding, "Couldn't have dreamed up a better birthday getaway if I tried," Jenna and Steve smile for the camera in the first photo while soaking in the water without their clothes on. A breathtaking view of their tropical destination and even more images of the two enjoying out in paradise were featured in the birthday post .
In a birthday shout-out devoted to Jenna, Steve offered viewers an endearing peek of his affection for his other half. He shared an Instagram snapshot of the actress on her big day, December 3, with the statement, "In the middle of September 2012 my whole life would change forever, we barely even spoke outside of the stage door of the Jacobs Theatre, but our brief meeting stayed with me forever. Six years and six months later I made the best decision of my life… I slid right into your dms. I could have never imagined then where we are now but at the same time, I knew it was meant to happen this way. Our nearly four years together have been by far the best of my life. I have grown so much," he added. "I've watched you grow so much. We have both grown so much together. I love you. I love our family. I'm so happy that you were born. Happy birthday to the brightest light."
Jenna and Steve got engaged in February 2020. In an interview with The Knot earlier this year, Jenna, talked out about that life-changing moment nine years ago. She said that she along with her mother went to see a musical once, in which Steve featured, and that it swept them away into tears. "I was pushing her forward to say hi, and Steve and I just had one of those eye-catching moments. It was very quick, but it struck us both. It was a moment. My mom and I told him what a great job he did and how it was such an amazing show, and that was it. We both went off into the night. But I never forgot the moment."
"Many years later, we were in different situations, I was single again, he was single. He messaged me and said something like, 'Hey, I don't know if you remember me, but how are you?' And I was floored. Of course, I remembered him. And that moment in 2012. And it was just kind of fate—it was totally meant to be," she added.

Jenna Dewan rocked her birthday suit while celebrating turning 41 with her fiancé Steve Kazee.
“Couldn’t have dreamed up a better birthday getaway if I tried. Thank you baby,” she captioned a series of steamy Instagram snaps on Monday.
The “Step Up” alum and Kazee, also an actor, cozied up in a hot tub while vacationing at Two Bunch Palms in Desert Hot Springs, Calif.
Dewan later opted for a bright pink one-piece swimsuit, as she and Kazee, 46, went for a dip in the pool.
The lavish trip came a few days after Dewan’s actual birthday on Dec. 3, when Kazee surprised his fiancé with a puppy.
“Wylie was part of a litter rescued from the side of the street,” Dewan wrote on Instagram . “He is the perfect fur baby birthday gift from @stevekazee and the best holiday gift for our family. We are in love!!”
The couple lost their pup, Violet Mae, suddenly over the summer.
The mother of two — who shares 21-month-old son Callum with Kazee, and 8-year-old daughter Everly with ex-husband Channing Tatum — also posted a makeup-free selfie on her big day.
“Waking up on this birthday feeling grateful for all the blessings, love, beautiful relationships and experiences in my life,” the proud mom wrote.
She added, “My family that is my everything. The work that i love and get to share with all of you. Also, remembering the inner strength i have been shown, especially over these past few years, and loving myself extra hard.”
Dewan and Kazee began dating in 2018 and got engaged in February 2020 . The pair welcomed their son, Callum , the following month. Dewan and Tatum, meanwhile, announced their split in 2018 and finalized their divorce in 2019.
