Jenna Dewan is stripping down for her latest photo shoot.
On Thursday, the star shared photos of herself posing completely nude as she graced the cover of Women's Health's September issue.
"Thank you @WomensHealthMag for my most, shall I say, freeing shoot yet...?!! And thank you for promoting confidence...bare, stripped down, just as you are," Dewan, 37, captioned a snap of the magazine cover .
In a seperate post , the actress shared a picture of herself baring it all as she looks away from the camera.
"Thank you again @dennisleupold @womenshealthmag for making me feel so comfortable and for taking a trip to one of my favorite places," Dewan said of the photo shoot site, which took place outside of Joshua Tree National Park in California.
As for whether Dewan was nervous to pose nude, the star explained that she's "been a dancer" her "entire life."
"So I’m used to little clothing,” she told the outlet. “You lose a sense of modesty.”
Dewan, who shares 5-year-old daughter Everly with estranged husband, Channing Tatum , also spoke about how she recently learned the term "mom-shaming" after she posted a sexy photo of herself on social media, which ultimately drew criticism from fans.
"Apparently, when you become a mother, you’re supposed to leave your sexuality at the door, and I never understood that,” she said.
“I think there’s nothing sexier than becoming a mother. You give life. It’s everything. And you don’t change who you are inside just because you have a kid.”
The former "Step Up" star went on to explain that she wants her daughter to one day look at the images, and "Be like, ‘Wow, my mother was a fully actualized, sensual woman.’”

Jenna Dewan is stepping up when it comes to showing herself some appreciation. The mom of two shared some jaw-dropping photos on Instagram of herself while soaking in a bath and she captioned the July 7 post, "Swipe for self love, #humpday." In the first photo, the Step Up actress has her back turned towards the camera, revealing an angel-winged tattoo located at the back of her neck. In the second pic, Jenna strikes a gorgeous pose while nude—but manages to still keep her revealing photo Instagram-approved. And we're not the only ones fawning over her recent self-love snaps. Unsurprisingly, Jenna's comment section was flooded with compliments, with a few coming from fellow celebs, too. Actress Kate Bosworth nailed the top comment by writing, "Damn girl, gorgeous!" Singer Christina Milian also chimed in on the cheering, commenting, "Wow, yes." After celebrating her 40th birthday in December, the actress—who shares daughter Everly , 8, with ex Channing Tatum and son Callum , 16 months, with fiancé Steve Kazee —reflected on her new sense of self in an interview with Women's Health .
"I feel better in my skin," she said of her recent milestone. "I feel more grounded in my body. I feel excited for this next decade and what is available to create. Even in this crazy year, I still have that feeling."
"You can't really control how life is going to look—you just know how you want to feel. I am in no way at that point where I'm like, 'I've got it all figured out,'" she continued. "I'm still learning more about myself every single day: what I want, how I want to experience it. All of that is in flux. I am not one of those people who thinks change doesn't happen. Instead, I own it, I'm happy with it, and I'm excited to see what develops from it."
By the looks of her recent post, she's owning it like no other!

It’s been a big year for body positivity, as brands like Victoria’s Secret said goodbye to their famous Angels and adding Megan Rapinoe and women of all shapes and sizes to their branding. On social media, as more people spent more time at home, celebrities also got more comfortable with going make-up free , choosing to roll pants-free , or sometimes ditching clothing entirely. World of Dance ’s former host and The Rookie newcomer Jenna Dewan recently joined the latter group, opting to go nude as a bit of a “self love” pick me up.
The famous dancer, mom and former reality host took to Instagram this week to share a photo post from what looks to be a steamy bath with a great view. Jenna Dewan is completely nude in the images, first giving us a look at her back and then a second look at her overall sculpted form. She looks great and, from her posts she seems to have been enjoying a really wonderful day.
She captioned the post to mention “self love” and plenty of other celebrities were happy that Jenna Dewan has jumped on the body positivity train. Christina Milian commented, noting “wow, yes” while Kate Bosworth simply said, “Damn girl, gorgeous.” Other famous names, including Rumer Willis, simply captioned their responses with fire emojis.
Jenna Dewan isn’t typically one to share a look at herself in the tub, but a separate post to her Instagram Story does mention that the beautiful big tub, the beautiful big bathroom and the amazing view were all her “literal self-care dream.” It seems she really just wanted to be in the moment and share the moment with her friends and followers.
It’s kind of been a year+ of self-love for Jenna Dewan, who wasn’t super active during the pandemic. Her 2021 TV credits include an appearance on The Rookie (which oddly given the subject of this story did feature her in a towel), but she hasn’t been filling her plate with a bunch of acting gigs. While The Rookie gig set her character up to stick around into Season 4 , in recent months she’s been spending a lot of time with her husband Steve Kazee and her two children, one of whom she shares with ex-husband Channing Tatum .
There’s been a lot of focus on home and family… and even the occasional photo of her husband in the tub.
Jenna Dewan is no longer a part of World of Dance , but now that the world is opening back up, hopefully we’ll see her acting and dancing on the small screen a bit more. The good news, she seems happy, healthy and in a great place with herself and her home life. Now, I just hope she got to enjoy that epic tub and view more than once.
