Jeff Probst Announces New Adventure Reality Show: 'Survivor: Legends vs. Underdogs'

Los Angeles, CA – March 27, 2025 – Emmy-winning host and executive producer Jeff Probst has unveiled his latest project, Survivor: Legends vs. Underdogs, set to premiere this fall on CBS. The new season promises to shake up the franchise by pitting some of the most iconic winners and players against a tribe of underestimated but cunning newcomers.

In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Weekly, Probst teased, 'This is going to be one of the most intense seasons ever. We’re bringing back legendary players who changed the game, but the Underdogs? They’re hungry, they’re smart, and they’re coming to prove that strategy beats reputation.'

Rumored returning 'Legends' include Boston Rob Mariano, Parvati Shallow, Tony Vlachos, and Sandra Diaz-Twine, while the Underdogs will feature a mix of superfans and survival experts handpicked by Probst himself.

Filmed on a remote island in Fiji, the season will introduce new twists, including a 'Double-Blind Immunity' challenge where both tribes must compete without knowing which one is truly at risk.

Fans are already buzzing on social media, with #SurvivorLegends trending worldwide. Probst added, 'Expect blindsides, epic moves, and maybe even a few tears. The game is evolving, and so are the players.'

Survivor: Legends vs. Underdogs premieres October 8, 2025, on CBS. Will a Legend cement their legacy, or will an Underdog rewrite history? As Probst would say: 'Fire represents your life. When it’s gone, so are you.'
