Java Tech Lead in Amsterdam

Payment - 59.000 gross/year

Visa support, relocation support - 2000 euros net

Client is an independent energy trading platform with a real-time web based open order book for

short-term electricity trades introducing new solutions to the energy market. Within it’s short

existence, they have already contracted 50% of the market capacity in the Netherlands and has

implemented a number of game changing concepts. They are going to facilitate the rapid growth of

renewables in the Dutch (or European) energy system. You will be part of a dedicated team in a

startup organization, aiming to create a high quality standard for the company's trading platform.

At our client you will find a motivated team working on a cutting-edge trading platform, using open

source technologies and applying the agile development method. Developers will work in a multi-

disciplinary team plenty of opportunities to learn new skills, to grow and take own initiative in all

aspects. You will be working on a distributed environment with micro services with modern

technologies including Spring, Axon, AngularJS, MongoDB and Elastic. In the meantime you will

be familiarizing yourself with the complete domain of the energy sector and help us shape the future

of renewable energy in the Netherlands and beyond.

You will need to have an entrepreneurial mindset and be willing to work in an agile environment. 

Strong communication skills are required as is an open mind and tech-hungry attitude. 

You will need to have advanced knowledge of Java. 

Experience with Spring, Axon, AngularJS, MongoDB and Elastic is a big plus.
