The first time she read the script for "Sell Your Haunted House," Jang Nara commented, "It's a new and refreshing story, and I found it interesting." He then described Hong Ji Ah as a character who is very cool, but has a secret.
When asked why she decided to take up the drama for her next project, Jang Nara revealed that she had always wanted to play a strong-willed character like Hong Ji Ah.
"Taking on this strong, independent, and decisive role is a new challenge for me and something I have always dreamed of doing," he said.
